maybe put an 5L axle between the red pins where the suspensionarm meets the chassis

greatings

TNLD

A 4l axle fits in there, but the whole point of the red pins is to be removable, so you can remove every component.

I agree with Paul!

Is there a chance of a video :look:

Also I see that you got the Arcos

A video will come when its finished. No sense of do it otherwise. THings are changing constantly right now. The front end needs to be rebuilt again since i have decided to use the pneumatic cylinder struts, Those springs have too much play in them.

It's taking shape! You redid the front suspension as I see. A very intricating build so far. I'm following this project with great interest.

More pics. I don't have a lot of panels suitable for the exterior of the car. So some colored ones as placeholders will do. WHat color should the car be? I guess it'll be down to pure parts availability.

Color is minor problem. Black would look nice though.

Front part shouldn't be so straight, it should be more rounded.

Will it be LPE powered?

Colour side, if you wish to have larger panel availability you have just three options: black, red and white. Maybe yellow too. I would go with red, due to higher part availability and ability show the beautiful shapes, window line of E30.

First of all: hell yeah!

About the color, I would choose for red with black or white racestripes. Or just red, most easy color to build with IMO

Looks cool) nicjasno, why you are using small turntables as wheel hubs? less wobbly, or for more usable pin holes configuraton?

Both.

Red will be just perfect.

The front will get more shape into it. I was just playing around a bit to get a feel for the proportions of the car. The front valance is too parts intensive. Needs less liftarms and more panels.

Any suggestions how to better shape the fenders?

A standard 2 door bodyshell.

After i finish it and make the instructions, it'll be up to everyone to make their own version.

I will even make a tutorial how to lower it.

There's room for a LPEpower i3 and various electric motor configurations.

The battery packs are there for a reason. Both to power a servo motor and for the propulsion.

It all depends on the gearing, but i reckon even one would be enough to move it. It's not that heavy.

I think that the accuracy of mechanics already worth the existence of this MOC, even if it will stand on a shelf without LPE or PF motors.

I'd rather spend 300€ on this than a certain orange offering from lego and the certain stuttgart go-kart manufacturer....

Probably been asked / answered before: but are the pneumatic cylinders modified with a spring inside ? or pumped up and sealed off?

They have springs inside them
