CorneliusMurdock Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 You can only pull the wool over the town's eyes for so long. At least my corpse will be the first paving stone on your road to ruin. I take great comfort in that. And that the dwarven afterlife is about a million times more awesome than wherever you'll end up.
Kadabra Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Not so sure about paving any roads with it, but your corpse will give us 50 gold towards Calico's resurrection, that's for sure.
Tachyon Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Wait am I asleep because I'm suspicious or is it because I can do stuff you don't want me to do."
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Wait am I asleep because I'm suspicious or is it because I can do stuff you don't want me to do." They don't want you to fight back. Better just relax and let them kill you. Whatever you do, don't question them. They don't like that.

If you can't trust dead people, who can you trust? Good job. Hide while casting suspicion on others. I applaud you.
Tachyon Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 "What is it that you want to do?" Magical Effects
Chromeknight Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Heyo one eyed trouser snake! Oh, and you too cyclops. Umm. Do I seriously need to respond? 1. It's a theory, feel free to test it by killing Piro again, I'm sure he'd like that. And 2. It'd only be an issue if I was secretly evil.
swils Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 She make good point, not stir trouble. Even if wrong, it good to thoink about before trusting. If anything, I now thoink it possible that Coreline trying to keep those revived from being suspect again. If I take Jinnipher gold, I need only 10 more to buy phoenix essence to revive another hero.

Instead let's waste time trying to verify their allegiance when the "town core" doesn't really believe in investigations anyway. If one of their own turns up scum, the magnifying glass must be broken. Or even better, let's accuse the investigator.

Flare Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Why am I being put to sleep!? I would like to apologize to all whom I suggested as scum yesterday as thr death of Calico proved it to be silly. However, I had a slightly weird night which I will describe to you briefly. Masked Builder, who investigated Brickdoctor yesterday, alerted me to the fact in the beginning of the night that BD had turned up as Nephilim. Of course I didn't waste time and I let a few other members whom I've been in contact with know about this, including Scubacarrot (and also CM who previously alluded to this). Scubacarrot isn't willing to agree to any attack or action of any sort, and instead puts me and possibly other people to sleep so that we can't cause any damage! Does this seem suspicious to anyone else because it seems very strange to me Also, people, whats the deal of not trusting anyone who is investigated? That is just a scum excuse to keep everyone confused. Your theory leads to near infinite loops and a scum win. For example: Player 1 is investigated by Player 2. However, no one knows if Player 2 is town or not. Therefore Player 2 is investigated by Player 3. However, no one knows if Player 3 is town or not, which means we also don't know about players 1 and 2. And so on and so on until scum victory.

Though why would Briene ever consider guarding Calico in the first place? I know one obvious answer would be to infiltrate the ranks of the true Heroes, but really so early in the game when would be better to try not and attract any attention?} One of our investigators was confirmed scum already. In addition, you and Maxi are also scumming it up all over the place. {And you are just shouting opinions, were-octopus. Please feel free to elaborate on how they are scumming everything up.}
Kadabra Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 {And you are just shouting opinions, were-octopus. Please feel free to elaborate on how they are scumming everything up.} If you need me to elaborate on why Fleyra is scummy, then you obviously haven't been paying attention for the last couple days. As for Maxi, can you seriously tell me 'Maxi and I made a pact to tell each other our true alignments and I know he's telling the truth' is not just a wee bit odd? Especially when Maxi proceeds to 'clear' Fleyra and 'prove' that one of the three Town leaders is scum, even after one of them has been proven Town? And the part about Retak was literally just a fact.
Flare Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 One of our investigators was confirmed scum already. In addition, you and Maxi are also scumming it up all over the place. If you find my friendship to another hero suspicious then I request that you take a deep gaze at what your true beliefs are and express those. {A fascinating development. Though why would Briene ever consider guarding Calico in the first place? I know one obvious answer would be to infiltrate the ranks of the true Heroes, but really so early in the game when would be better to try not and attract any attention?} I cannot claim to have an answer for that question, however it is possible that Brienne was trying to pull a similar stunt as Ezeal (gaining the trust of a group of townies and carefully using them to do the will of the scum)
swils Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Yes, let's not trust anyone that's been confirmed to be a hero. Silly. I thoink revived heroes would keep allegiance. Possibility exists otherwise, though: when evil angel's necromancer raised them, they bend to Retak's will. Reviving with essence make sense to restore allegiance but again, possibility there, however slight. To brush aside with such certainty seem to me to be urgent desire to not re-confirm.

Does this seem suspicious to anyone else because it seems very strange to me Ah, yes. It's funny how convenient it is, that Maxi barely speaks at all and you are as wishy-washy as can be, then you make pacts with each other in private without doing any research related to the game situation, you 'clear' each other, and now you come out claiming a scum result on the hero who's been pointing out how scummy you are for the past couple Days.And oh, look, Mr. Wishy-Washy thinks Scamander is scum now, too, and Maxi is too scared and sheepish too bring out his result himself.
