Posted September 10, 201311 yr A small house, intended to accompany the Moruth Outpost I did earlier. "Having collected the crops from near the Werewolf Outpost, the Orcish farmer returns home, waving to Vala Mal, a Night Elf heading out for an evenings hunting." September 10, 201311 yr Wow, you're improving quickly! I like the overgrown look of the garden, and the chimney is a nice touch.
September 10, 201311 yr Author Cheer Captain! The chimney was the trickiest bit- I've never tried one like that.
September 10, 201311 yr Cute little house, I like the roof and the smoke has some clever piece usage Great foliage for Nocturnus too. I think black tiles would make the base look nicer than the plates that are currently there, I understand if you don't have the pieces though
September 10, 201311 yr Author Thanks SK! I agree about the black tiles, it would look better, but I am severely lacking in them! I'm slowly building enough of a collection, but I tend to forget about the more mundane pieces when I make Bricklink orders haha!
September 13, 201311 yr Nice build, I like the small growths of foliage and the Chef's hat for the chimney smoke is a nice touch.
September 14, 201311 yr Author Nice build, I like the small growths of foliage and the Chef's hat for the chimney smoke is a nice touch. Thanks DC!
September 14, 201311 yr Great build! Love the use of "brick" bricks and the mushrooms! I love the smoke too!
September 15, 201311 yr Lovely civilian build from Nocturnus, I absolutely love that we get to see more of that side of the Eastern Darklands! The build is great and you have a nice background for your photography, but it feels like you have a tad too sharp light since there are bright reflections in some places and at least on my phone screen generally a bit too dark exposure. Not that it neccesarily is a bad thing that a Nocturnus build is a bit dark, but it feels like the light measurement of your camera gets fooled by the light.
September 15, 201311 yr Author Thanks guys. @Gideon, yeah it's actually taken in my iPhone, I'm currently lacking my camera. It's pretty difficult to take pictures with my iPhone, I completely agree- once I get my camera back, I'll be taking perfect pictures, or none at all haha!
September 21, 201311 yr A good start, for sure. You have some nice ideas here. I especially like how you attached that crow. Looking forward to more mocs.
September 21, 201311 yr Author Cheers CBB! I'm looking forward to making more MOCs, and some Nocturnus MOCs from yourself!
