Chills Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 That doesn't look like that much money. LOL J/K So are you going for it? Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 Yes I'll go for it, but I don't think it'll be completed before the end of the year... A shot of the new main engines Zenith by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Quote
Lord Tyrus Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Amazing! The amount of details are incredible. It also shows a little bit of inspiration from the Tantive IV as well. Quote

Lobot Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 It's looking great so far Bob! I'm not sure about the engine colour scheme though, it looks like it's from the mid 80's Quote

I'm not sure about the engine colour scheme though, it looks like it's from the mid 80's Hey I was playing with Legos in the mid 80's You probably mean the trans fluore green dish... Well I won't be able to change those now since I've almost finished ordering parts Quote
Lobot Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 So was I!! I'm a great fan of the colours from the Classic Space sets, but I think that it would look better with either the Executor (10221) or Star Destroyer (10030) engine colours; the trans-green is a bit too bright for me! Have you got any ideas for your next LDD project? How about a UCS Palpatine's shuttle...it would only need 2,500-3,000 parts Quote

The light blue 6x6 dish are quite rare, only 7 on bricklink today... but I agree it would look better Have you got any ideas for your next LDD project? How about a UCS Palpatine's shuttle...it would only need 2,500-3,000 parts Maybe I'll finish the Astradea and built it... I'll only need something like 40,000 bricks Quote

Swan Dutchman Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Hey Bob, That's an awesome ship you've designed... it would suit so well in the Old Republic game Looking forward to see the model finished :) Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted November 10, 2013 Author Posted November 10, 2013 (edited) Internal structure is almost done... I had to reinforce a lot the head and "shoulders" areas, the structures are now only one and strong enough I hope. Bob De Quatre Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 The building is really frustrating as I still haven't received all the orders... So I'll stop for now, until all the pieces arrive. Quote

Bob De Quatre Posted June 6, 2016 Author Posted June 6, 2016 Any update? Im a huge fan of this and wanted to know if you ever completed it. You shouldn't bump old topics. I have updates. The model has been built... back in Winter 2013/2014. The discussion thread, the one you should have made a search for, is here. And the model was destroyed in February 2014. Thanks you for your interest in this model. Quote
