SuvieD Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 The shape is fine. At the small size it is not that great though. A bigger cylinder or hexagon shape would fit better I think. Quote

Hm, but like I said earlier if I were to increase the size I'd have some trouble closing the ends up. And it would end up being a monstrous fighter :-D If you could, what do you dislike about this shape at this size? Impractical? Silly? Not smooth enough? Trying to get some ideas :-) I hope you'll like the SHIP I construct later which will take advantage of a similar design ;-) Quote
JoeMI6 Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Hmm, another name then. Abyss Fighter Mk (whatever) How does that sound? Quote
zero1312 Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Cool fighter!! *y* How does F12 Obsidian sound? The F stands for fighter. Quote
Starwars4J Posted April 4, 2007 Author Posted April 4, 2007 Cool fighter!! *y* How does F12 Obsidian sound? The F stands for fighter. I'll definitely consider it *y* Does anyone else have any suggestions for attaching the bubble cockpit to the body without compromising the overall shape? Quote

The only thing you could do about it would be to build around the cockpit and then use 1-2 studs to build towards the front of the ship (hope you know what I mean, it's really hard to find words). Then again, the cockpit wouldn't open anymore. Bascially, you have a terrible cockpit if you want a smooth ship, because you need to hide those hinge pieces somehow. Quote
