Emma Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Yep, I'm with Nocturnus. Thanks Kayne for catching that, and thanks kabel for the work indexing the builds. It's neat how the numbers for each side are fairly close. Quote

mrcp6d Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Almost like we sort of knew who was likely to particiapte and balanced the sides. Weird. LOLYou can keep her over on the Spire side... we won't tell anyone! Quote
Dragonfire Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I'd be happy if the Black Spire won because I built for it, but I want Nocturnus to win for story purposes. Quote
Zeussoid Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Browsed through Kabel's index last night - there really are some awesome builds in there. Some of the defensive structures in particular. Mind blown Quote

ZCerberus Posted March 11, 2014 Author Posted March 11, 2014 Civil War Results anyone? Challenge I, the Battle for Nocturnus has ended, and we have a change in who rules the roost... Winning Category C) Nocturnus Best entry was awarded to Gunman. Winning Category B) Black Spire Best entry was awarded to Torgar. Winning Category A) and therefore tiping the battle... Black Spire Best entry was Emma. The judges gave me reasons for their decisions, and I will post those later. For now, you may discuss the results and even what you think this menas for Nocturnus. Looks like things are heating up in Avalonia now. Stay tuned for the next adventure! Quote

Plus her dragon killed the Black Spire horde, so that would be counterproductive if she were Black Spire Yep, I'm with Nocturnus... Umm...? I take it that Nocturnus really won, then Congrats to the winners anyhow Edited March 11, 2014 by Garmadon Quote
MKJoshA Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Well I was going to cheer for getting the results, but now I'll just sit bemused and wait for more answers Good luck to all the moderators who have to figure this out Quote
Rogue Angel Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 No, the Black Spire won the small challenge DESPITE Emma's fantastic build. Quote
ZCerberus Posted March 11, 2014 Author Posted March 11, 2014 You can win individually without your side winning the category. Emma's entry was indeed counted for team Nocturnus, but the Spire still took it home. For some perspecive, The average entry for the Spire scored 6.66 out of 10 while the average for Nocty was only 5.9 in category A. Quote

Gunman Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Woot thank you a lot Thanks to the judges/runners of contest. Looking forward to challenge II Quote
Gideon Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) For the Black Spire!! Great news! And big congratulations to the individual winners, those were some extraordinary builds! Time to move on to Avalonia, I like what I see there already. I guess that this any involvement from Nocturnus for story purposes until challenge 5 would be the Black Spire, except for maybe some Nocturnus rebels still loyal to the old leadership? (Edit: By the way, maybe the newsflash in the thread title should be removed so it only reads "Book II - Challenge 1 - The Battle for Nocturnus" now, or maybe add something about that the Black Spire was victorious )? Tomsche Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Will there be a full result table somewhere, or is that a no-go in the Guilds book challenges? Quote
mpoh98 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Congrats to the winners! Great job guys, and great challenge! I eagerly look forward to the next one! Quote
gedren_y Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Now I know how to do the Nestlands Ambassador to Nocturnus story. I have a few Chima ravens to act as escort. This build is one of four unfinished builds that I have in development. Quote
PenPlays Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Aww. The Spire won! Excellent work everyone. To the next challenge! Quote
Yooha Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Okay, I'm sure I missed something, but I still don't see where the story of Nocturnus (and Historica s a whole) is heading. I see 3 winner's name, but not their entries, their side on the war, and which entry will be the "official" result of the war. Quote
qiadris Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Okay, I'm sure I missed something, but I still don't see where the story of Nocturnus (and Historica s a whole) is heading. I see 3 winner's name, but not their entries, their side on the war, and which entry will be the "official" result of the war. I don't think any of the entries are supposed to be the official result of the war, and all entries are, in fact, supposed to have taken place. What the result means is, after all the battles, tribes recruited and defensive structures, the Black Spire came out victorious (but lost some battles too), and now controls the most part of former Nocturnus. soccerkid6 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Congratulations to the individual winners and the Black Spire team for pulling off the win I'm looking forward to seeing the more in-depth judging results Quote
Alfadas Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Congrats Black Spire. Just a question. Does this black spire stuff come to Mitgardia? Challenge l was Nocturnus, ll will be Avalonia. lll Mitgardia? Or Kaliphlin? Quote
