Kadabra Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 "Wai'--framer'd work jus' fine, even if 'e did visit ya. I don't see why 'e couldn' be a framer--unless ya know somethin' I don', which is plenty poss'ble." "'Nother poss'bility tha' came ta mind'd be tha' o' a Cult, but tha' don' seem righ', consid'rin' tha' tha Nephilim are technically cultists 'lready. (Tho tha' does s'pport tha 'bility ta convert--hopef'lly tha converter, if there was/is one, is among tha dead already." Well, I'm not sure about a frame that also acts as a sort of Godfather to the target AND increases the framer's attack. Seems over powered. "Chromeo was tha one who mentioned it, and it had nothing tae do wi' yer 'loop', it was mentioned before a lot of people an' if he wants tae do tha' then who are we tae stop him." Chromeo was part of the core, so yes, it does have to do with it. Pay attention.
Pyrovisionary Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 You do need evidence to kill someone. Ezeal was killed because of our evidence: Red flag from Pauline's list. Decided on as a suspicion when he attacked Kob for no reason. Sealed his own fate when he flailed in thread. Killing people without evidence is known as being bad at the game if you're Town or being scum. If Calico was not as scummy as me, then why was she killed and not me? You are correct that we don't need to argue: I'm asleep right now and will be confirmed Town by nightfall. Might as well just thank me for my contributions in catching pretty much every scum so far and then move on. Then, just some advice for if you decide to get in on the mafia scene: Evidence is everything. Hunches are only good when you have evidence to back them up. Lurking is a no-no. When people don't have solid suspicions, they policy lynch lurkers. As long as you're not adding nothing to the topic at hand (sheeping, pointless RPing/fluff, off topic discussion, stating the obvious, being wishy-washy) you should always throw in your two cents. No matter how inexperienced you are it is possible that you have seen or considered something from a different angle and your opinion is therefore valuable. In addition, by remaining quiet you are depriving the Town of information they can use to judge you, and depriving the Town of information is a huge scum tell. Don't back down on your suspicions. Tunnel vision is one thing but if you think someone is suspicious do not let them worm out from under your notice unless they give a dang good reason. Also do not  . Indecisiveness gets you or your teammates killed. Fair enough and thanks for the advice
Flipz Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Seems over powered. "Exhibit A, Sleepmaster Scamander. I rest my case."
Duvors Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Chromeo was part of the core, so yes, it does have to do with it. Pay attention. "Oh, so there are two cores now, how nice."
Kadabra Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 "Oh, so there are two cores now, how nice." There was the original core: Me, Calico, Swinehurst, Theodor, Brienne, and Chromeo. Due to the investitions on the latter two, we have fallen out of favor with the town. Swinehurst and Theodor have been accepted into the new town core, and I will as well tonight. Our last act as a group was to decide on the plan to kill Brienne and revive her if she flipped town due to framing. You would know all of this if you had been paying attention, but that's too much to ask of you, huh? "Exhibit A, Sleepmaster Scamander. I rest my case." Point.

Kadabra Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 "Oh, first ye tell me tha' I cannae possibly know something because it's in tha 'loop', Then ye insult me frae nae knowing just that?" We didn't tell you about it, yes. After you asked about it you should have been able to understand he first time. And you should have already known hat Chromeo was in the loop.
swils Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 To be fair to little greenling, plan not entirely revealed in public. But enough pieces left, should pick up. Tentacles let it known that we have plan to kill Brienne and revive if shown innocent. Chromeo, of course, was koink in plan. Then Sham Poo lose half inventory and no longer able to buy essences. If Enya brought back and Brienne proven loyal, we out hero Brienne. All honesty, I suggest original plan of kill Brienne overnight. When Maxi flip hero, I knew people want Brienne's head. Despite investigation, I still maintain figment of hope that Brienne loyal (if only so I don't appear to have been completely played). My plan (I could quote a time stamp for you) was kill Brienne over night and post revive action early in day if flip hero. That plan change while I sleep, to attack Brienne but Brienne cover, then Brienne lay to rest during day, by our hand and public. I not explain that, but it how it play out. Then Werther start new hero core, invite many including Chromeo. I announce changed action within new core, but Chromeo hear about it before he expelled due to investigation result. I stick with new plan (block overnight, post early attack, in case I was deemed a vulnerable threat by the supposed Brienne+Chromeo 'scum' pair). I still thoink it entirely possible that Brienne framed. She push me to aid in killing of three bad angels. Perhaps Geos been recruiting to cultist cause this whole time and they not worried about bussing few members. It possibility. But with scroll of confusion in game and enough mages to sport at least one of each gem (I think, right?) why not similar distribution of scrolls? Maybe investigation against Brienne retargeted via confusion and end up flipping Nephilim? It very unlikely but I maintain possibility til Brienne keel over, my hand part of act. That the plan, after all. Proof through irrefutable death. Unless essence revive to user's side. But Chromeo supposed to be reviving Enya so I not know of any other existing essences to be used.
Scubacarrot Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 "Changing plans, huh? Sounds like a load of crap to me."
swils Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Well, I only suggest plan and at time, I still thoink Maxi flip Nephilim. It on par with "I totally mostly trust you but I want to kill you anyway." I go sleep, plan become Brienne cover self, you know rest.
Scubacarrot Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 That makes little sense, as Maxi flipped town, then I told Brienne she should go quietly, then the plan wasn't changed. She also never said anything about a changing plan and a bunch of people got their attacks messed up. It's convenient lies.
Chromeknight Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 "Chromeo was tha one who mentioned it, and it had nothing tae do wi' yer 'loop', it was mentioned before a lot of people an' if he wants tae do tha' then who are we tae stop him." Who are you to stop me? The bozos that are killing me! Sheesh. You know, if I use the essence it's one of the last ones (until the alchemist randomly makes another) and you know who'll be the next scum target... So when I flip hero, it's that much closer to a Nephilim win and they're happy they've successfully thrown suspicion away from themselves. There was the original core: Me, Calico, Swinehurst, Theodor, Brienne, and Chromeo. Due to the investitions on the latter two, we have fallen out of favor with the town. That you didn't trust me. That you knew all along you were going to frame me I was Nephilim. It's nice how the story changes ever so often. And don't think I didn't notice you defending whispery boy too. Having a right old chuckle you sucked me in?
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 "Does anyone want me to throw a bomb at a suspect to free up attackers?"
joeshmoe554 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Well, I'm not sure about a frame that also acts as a sort of Godfather to the target AND increases the framer's attack. Seems over powered. Geosmos could hear people talking about him. They were using odd terms he was unfamiliar with, though the general idea seemed to be questioning his trustworthiness. "Zplif... I would prefer... to stick with... my original... actions... as altering... them now would... delay the... attack against... Cromeo... whom I believe... to be a... Nephilim... I would hope... I can still manage... to find you... by following... your voice... as I hope... you would only... hide from that... which might... harm you."

Not one of the original three members, but you were part of the core started by Calico, Brienne, and myself. We suspected you of buddying at first but then dropped our suspicions after you were nothing but helpful: obviously a mistake.
The Legonater Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 "Does anyone want me to throw a bomb at a suspect to free up attackers?" I do, but I was going to just reserve it for third suspect. It would balance out to about the same damage anyways. Brienne and Chromeo still both seem more than covered. I'll use my second action to lobb a bomb at Corelin.
Sandy Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 "Just a friendly reminder: buying, discarding and trading items are still not considered a proper actions. You can use two different abilities from now on. Thanks for your attention, you may now continue the killing."
Peppermint_M Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 "Oh man, this is too much... Should have stayed in the forest..." Percival grabbed his head. "Right, so far I have been sent to sleep, super confused and utterly left out! I shall fire an arrow at Corelin and see what happens."
