Mariann Asanuma Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Bow ties are cool! Especially when they are made of LEGO. I've been a fan of Doctor Who since its re-vamp in 2005. So I just had to do something for the 50th anniversary. So here's my take on Matt Smith as the Doctor. It took me about a week and a half to build -- or two and a half months because I had to put the "blueprints" aside for a couple months while I was busy with LEGO Cons and commissions. Any how, enjoy! http://modelbuilding...17/11th-doctor/ Quote
Leewan Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 This MOC is truly impressive, congratulations ! It's a perfect rendition of Smith's face (and his bowtie), that's amazing. I'm speechless. Quote
eurotrash Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 It took me about a week and a half to build -- or two and a half months ...and thats the problem with wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff! The mosaic is really well done - especially the hair/hair line and the highlights on his suit. Thanks for sharing it with us! Quote
Herky Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 great job, hated to see Matt Smith get replaced, he was so quirky and fun in the role, you did a fantastic job on this, love the bow tie Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 This is a stunning puzzle! Superb work! Quote
PocasNuckie Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 You're a real master, I am seriously impressed. The level of work you put on the preparation of the building just by making those handprints is seriously nuts. Trust me, I am disabled and can't actually kneel before you, because If I could I'd be doing it right away. :p Quote
mpoh98 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Amazing work here, I love it! Great job on being blogged by TBB! Quote
