Simply enough, it is not HF's turn because there are less leaking adults interested in this them than in Ninjago, StarWars or friends.

Don't worry, since images are starting to appear for the other themes, we'll likely need to wait only 3 or 4 months before HF updates.

Nothing changed from last week- only Ninjago, Friends and The Hobbit (December wave) got pictures.

When the other themes are going to get pics, so will HF.

I don't want to veer too off-topic, but the retail catalog is a catalog for toy retailers to see which LEGO sets they want to stock and such. It is usually seen by smaller toy retailers, and we get descriptions from people who visit their local toy store and are allowed to see the sets by that retailer.

Nope, they have a supplier/distributor that has a catalog. Individual store locations do not.

I'm actually really excited for next year's sets. I've never been interested in Hero Factory at all, but I love the idea of there being minifigure-scale sets. I'm curious to see how the figures look, too.

Once I was in an individual toy shop in Poland and a seller had that catalog. There was no problem to see what is inside. In fact, the boss of the shop showed me that.

^Pretty much. Technically speaking, pictures are never SUPPOSED to be leaked this early. We've just been fortunate thus far, but it appears as if Lego's stepping up their game this year.

I can't exactly fault them. The agonizing wait is certainly making my hype levels increase with every passing day. :P

On a plus side, when we do see photos, their won't be a long wait until they are released. (Assuming lego keeps some common sense and releases the sets before xmas)

I was amazed, because last year (at least in my area) the sets were impossible to find around Christmas time unless you wanted to purchase them from TRU. I could find them nowhere else until a good while after the 1st of the year.

Shot in the dark:

people will complain and whine about the pictures, gradually warm up the concepts and models, do an about face in both directions on two different models (one they thought they'd like was bad and one they thought they wouldn't is great), and enjoy the rest of the line.

I was browsing around looking for them and stumbled across them on http://www.tamayk.com. I couldn't actually find them by searching on the website itself, but rather googling the term:

I'm sure you can find pictures for many other themes using that method. I myself only spent the time looking for a few themes. I pretty much talked the sets to death in the video, but I'll summarize my thoughts at a later date.

Not in the video itself, no. That's why I had to just link the pictures in the description. Don't want the video getting taken down.

Meh. As you said, Meso, I won't condemn these since they're really early prototypes... but they don't look excellent and they don't look terrible.
