Stringer is in the trailer, so why wouldn't he be in a VS Beast set? He'd be a good match for the Azure or Red Beast...

But do we KNOW he's in the trailer? We saw some figures that MIGHT be Stringer but never a good enough look at the faces to be 100% certain.

Halfway through the video, there's a blue hand (Surge obviously) holding what appears to be a black/dark grey one..it might be Bulk's, but his silver is very bright and shiny in the animated episodes. Stringer? I wouldn't get my hopes up, but it's something to consider.

Aanchir beat me to a point I wanted to write: at least, it should be pretty easy to make palette swaps of other Machines. But still, I'm sad there's not going to be a special printed shell for each Hero.

I believed this to be Stringer until recently. I saw a brighter color on his armor so I supposed orange is back in his color scheme.

Still, the figure looks a little dark to be Rocka.

That's Rocka. You can tell by the eyelids section that can be barely made out of. Plus, the armour is clearly a dark gold due to the lightning of the cave.

Ugh. Stringer was a cool character. And I'm a fan of medics, so I'm sad Nex is out too.

It would've been nice to see everyone in minifig forms. And I can just imagine how cool the mechs could've been for those two. Lost opportunity.

It's done by Ghost DK (who really work very close together with Advance DK so any animation "made by Advance" is probably animated by Ghost), and I suppose they wanted to keep the style similar to that of Threshold Animation Studios so the change wouldn't be too jarrung.

Ghost also used the same character models as Tinseltown Toons/CGCG in the CGI portions of all the 2010/2011 TV commercials. Making things look incredibly different has never been their goal.

And that blue hand in the trailer is holding a GOLD hand -- Rocka's. All in all pretty much any sightings of Stringer in the trailer could just as easily be a case of mistaken identity.

And no reason to think the flying machine will have clashing colors. Both the upper and lower parts clearly use blue. There's no rule that EVERY machine has to match the pilot. Though blue and gold would have probably looked cool.

The Queen's building seems pretty interesting. I count two XT4's torsos.

Looks like we're gonna get a lot of those parts this year (three with Evo XL, one with Splitter Beast, two with the Queen...). Yuss !

I really want nex to be in a titan size set in 2014 because he's always been in a tiny size, and it would be cool to see a big orange-and-green mech.

Ugh, they better fix the shooting problem; you couldn't fire a weapon unless you were targeting an enemy in the previous games.

But 0:43 of the trailer suggests that the changed it, hopefully.

The queen's a little odd to me. She doesn't give the terrifying appearance I'd expect from a queen, though she has some nice pieces from what I can see.

I never usually play Lego online games, but this one looks pretty good. I'll give it a shot. Plus it'll give us scenes from the show, so that's cool.

The Queen actually looks pretty interesting build-wise. But it just doesn't look like it has that many pieces to make it a titan set. Granted, it has more pieces than a large bag set, but still. Seems pretty small. Cool looking, though.

The large bag sets ARE titan sets, technically speaking. After all, they're higher than BIONICLE's "canister set" price point, and not just from inflation or price hikes. Splitter Beast, as small a set as it seems, has nearly the same piece count as Nocturn, the smallest BIONICLE "titan". Evo XL Machine has 193 pieces, a higher piece count than Tuma, Icarax, Hydraxon, Gadunka, Umbra, or Nivawk. Of course, these sets ARE each priced $5 higher than comparable BIONICLE titan sets.

I imagine the "Queen" will have a piece count somewhere in between, so I think it'll be a large bag set priced at either $20 or $25. Of course, I could be wrong, especially since we don't know what the contents of each set will be — with a "battle in each set", there's even less reason before that each set MUST be just a single figure.
