Takanuinuva Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) Well if Canada doesn't get the new sets in by January 15th then I'm going to assume that they won't be out till March. VBBN if Lego did tell you USA but meant North America that's either stupid of them to confuse North America for USA or there a jerk for including Canada with the USA Edited December 30, 2013 by Takanuinuva Quote
Aanchir Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 While it makes sense for the USA and Canada to get them at the same time (more or less the same distribution channels), I think it's a bit surprising considering that some of our very first finalized images of the sets came from Walmart.ca, a Canadian website. And these images showed the North American packaging, with piece counts marked. Pretty unusual for a site to put images up that far before the release date, but not impossible. Perhaps they were dealing with a similar miscommunication. Quote
Dorek Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Could have been a last minute change-up, maybe something similar to Breakout Breez. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Either way I'm upset about it. But there's no use complaining I'll guess just have to wait till March then. This wouldn't be as big a deal if only the Hero Factory sets were delayed. But even the new Chima sets are delayed as well and I wanted to get the Legend Beasts for the new ball joints pieces. Quote

Aw, man, are the Chima sets delayed throughout North America as well? The Legend Beasts were supposed to be what would help me get my LEGO fix until Toy Fair. Now I've just gotta hope the sets I got for Christmas are enough to hold me over. Quote

Leewan Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Do you think this delay is related to the airing date of next year's HF episode ? Quote
Gatanui Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 (edited) Do you think this delay is related to the airing date of next year's HF episode ? I doubt it, as the episode will be part of the online game that will be released in January. Also, work on the episode was finished in late October. -Gata Edited December 31, 2013 by Gatanui Quote
Leewan Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Okay, thanks. I had actually no idea of the airing date, so that was a very random supposition. Quote
Kalhiki Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Why do sets get delayed in some parts of the world anyway? Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Cause Lego doesn't like us. I'm sure their is a perfectly good reason for his, need I remind you how often Lego helps out in building contests here, or how they always address their issues and are constantly updating their site to accommodate everyone. One good place to look if your making a comment like that would be this thread: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=41564 Most of the figures seen there have actually become CMF's. That just goes to show how much Lego actually listens to their customers. They don't dislike us, in fact, their probably doing this for another completely diffferent reason. Like say, Ninjago (one of their most successful themes) City, and The Lego movie sets coming out in January possibly eating Hero Factory's already low sales? Saying that Lego (one of this sites biggest sponsors) doesn't like us for releasing a theme's wave later than usual when their are so many other financial reasons behind it is just... silly. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I was being sarcastic Oops, I'll let my comment stay as it is though. Quote
Vinyl Scratch Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 You guys act like waiting for March is bad, my country literally got the very first Brain Attack wave a month ago. I'll never get Invasion from Below :( Quote
Gatanui Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Yeah, it was normal for several years where I live to get the sets in March or even April when BIONICLE was still running. For example, Barraki and Glatorian came in March, Piraka even in April (Phantoka in February, though). -Gata Quote
coolcab1 Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Who else is excited for the new game cause I am. Can't wait to see how the episode is. Quote

Hope Lego didn't here that though... Quote
