Also, for reference, here is the most common image of the Movie Turtles. Their Lego minifigs will be olive and dark green.

As others have said, this is not from the movie. It's ancient fan art.

The other three sets are definitely movie tie-ins, not TV show.

The Karai in the movie sets has a black hair piece with a red fringe - well at least the mock-up did - assuming they don't change it for the actual fig, it looks pretty great!

Ah, well that image is by far the most POPULAR image of what the internet WANTS them to look like... I think a lot of people assumed it was official. Pretty much 99% like we might have expected, just muscular, textured, darker, tough-looking versions of their graphic novel incarnations.

And since they have the ability to easily change the CGI modeling that wraps around the 3-D motion-capture, even during the final stages of post-production, they probably haven't even committed 100% on a final look. But whatever the internet wants, then that is what they'll do in the end.

(And NOT that horrible Halloween costume of Michelangelo that looks like Shrek without his antennae!)

The first painting was featured on ComicBookMovie.com, and this CGI comes from MovieScramble.com. Essentially, they match 99%, so I have a feeling this will be "the look" they go with... Pretty straightforward. If I were Lego, I would just go ahead and start molding the plastic heads to look like this!

Also, here is the new van. Looks official.

I have found images of the ninja turtle sets for 2014 so I recommend that you check it cause they are usually quite fast at uploading pictures of the machines and so on.

Opps forget to say in that post above brickset.

Great job on finding the TMN picsT and Spider copter picture, Just2good! :classic:

All of them but the Turtle Sub look "meh." The Turtle Sub has a neat design, but I wish there was an ounce more color to it. It would've been cool if the show designed it to have the same color scheme as the Shellraiser, but LEGO represented the source material well. Shame it'll be too expensive for me.

*snip*

The van is official, but that turtle image is just promotional material from the unrelated game 'Out of the Shadows'.

Also, someone who supposedly saw prototype collectible models of the movie turtles said that they were *not* textured, and each had costumes relating to their personalities, hence the glasses and shorts on Mikey. Apparently Donnie's getting tech gear, Leo's getting samurai gear, and Raph is getting something I can't remember.

Probably lots of belts and a trench coat, since he's the edgy one.

Ah, interesting. Well we will see them in a few months... The clothes might look goofy on a live-action turtle, but then they might look cool in Lego minifig form. Similar to the way the newest versions of the TV Turtles minifigs have unique outfits. We'll see what they do.

Thats from the recent video game.

They do not change designs based on the internet, the final designs were done ages ago, theres alot of merchandise partners that needs it, and turnes are pretty deep into toys etc..

Raphael has a strange grey thing covering his mouth. :hmpf_bad:http://toysnbricks.c...14-Sets-Pre.jpg

It's probably a breathing device, remember that most Kraang labs have the atmosphere from Dimension X in, that's the reason why he is wearing it

I'll be honest, I'm not diggin' Karai, but i'll pick up the set anyway since i collect the main characters - especially Leonardo

I never dug the idea of the Turtles being incredibly dark and gritty (I know the comics originally were like that). I always preferred the bright, corny and goofy 80's versions, so I don't think I will be too fond of the sets this "dark and epic" film is based off of.

(A D2C Party Wagon would be awesome though... )

Ah, you are probably right... Well I am still keeping the wishful thinking alive that they will make them look cool and not goofy.

Here's to hoping!

Never forget. It's a Michael Bay movie... And Michael Bay hates your childhood like he hates nothing else.

Michael Bay is supposed to be one of the producers. Johnathan Liebesman is the director. This is also a Nickelodeon Movies Production.

Irrelevant.

If you look at his record literally all the movies he's involved with at any high level (including producer) sucks. This is doomed to suck too.
