The Mutation chamber is EXTREMLY awesome, and TBH I kind of find the T-RAWKET really attractive for £30.

Flickr images from tormentalous (aka Allen Tran) for the TMNT sets close up! http://www.flickr.co...th/13361335175/

Oh, well so much for me posting about it not too long ago. :( Maybe I should leave the community. You all already know about things, which makes it less special when I find it on my own and see you posted it already. Thanks for the info. I have the link. http://www.flickr.co...th/13361335175/

I don't use flickr, I found the images on Smythstoys.com  . And don't leave, all members have a place :classic: . Don't feel bad, you where a tiny bit late. It really dosen't matter beacuse you can Ninja me someother time, perhaps with the Movie sets  !

Thanks for the videos! Can't wait for these new sets to hit the USA. I got the Shredder's Lair at TRU last Thursday. Hoping the other sets hit LEGO stores soon so I can buy them at double vip!

Leatherhead & Turtle Sub review coming soon?

I found absolutely NONE of these sets at my TRU today after searching the store extensively.

I'll beat he'll have it up before I'm done typing this comment. Real soon :)

No prob! I live in the US, and they were at my LEGO Store. So maybe they'll be at your local one! Also, unfortunately, I didn't get the Turtle Sub set. I'm sorry!

I have to get the sloppy pig minifig pieces from the mutation chamber. That's just 2 funny. :snicker:

Thanks for all the great video reviews Just2Good, these new sets do not disapoint, plan on buying them ALL.

According to the Brick Show, some of these sets were at Toys R Us. I can verify after visiting toay that I saw none in my store. I also did not find these on the TRU website nor the LEGO shop at home website. Oh well.

Oh that makes sens. I searched TRU and the LEGO shop at home for where these images first appeared. I hardly know about Smythstoys.com

I'm sorry but I do. I just got really excited to find news first, and someone ALWAYS is one step ahead of me, each time. I think the only brand spanking new news I found was the MetalBeard's Rules of the Sea on the LEGO Movie Facebook page, but even then people commented about it before I got the pictures and link up to EuroBricks.

I feel like my role in this community is insignificant. I don't go on here often, I'm scared of reading massive topic forums all the way through for important content, I'm shy to voice my opinion about topics, and I hardly know how to use this site to my advantage (so yes, call me a noob).

What do you mean by "ninja" you? do you mean get them ahead of you? Well good luck with that. I check very few toy sites for images posted, as I said earlier about my connection with Smythstoys. I don't want to overwhelm myself with checking neurotically with LEGO news, which is why I enjoy this community for helping each other out. But my inferiority makes me angry sometimes even to the point of wanting to be on top and with something big and noteworthy, not some Rules of the Sea images (who really cared for that?). I also dislike the idea of being late, feeling pressured from certain members of the LEGO community to get the news out ASAP.

I also can't convince myself to leave either, or I lose a goldmine of information (I consider EuroBricks the God of LEGO, because this website knows about new LEGO content before anyone else). I feel hopeless.

I'm sorry for pouring myself out so much. There's more to the LEGO community than it's fascination with the plastic toy, you know :(

Thanks for the support! :classic:

Alas, we're at the end of the line. Here's the last review:

*snip*

Overall, this set is pretty mediocre. I don't like the look of the T-Rawket. The three exclusive minifigures are great, though.

Is it possible for you to take separate photos of the new pieces shown in each set? Just to see the piece alone, or new printing, or new color scheme?

Awesome review.

Thanks!

J2G, will you be doing a review of the turtle sub eventually?

I don't think so, as I don't plan on getting that set anytime soon. Sorry!

Planning on getting the Karai set for Leo, and Karai's bike for Nightwing and the Mutation Chamber, Raph's torso can be used for Red Hood and the chamber itself can be a good stand in for a Joker Origin MOC.

Although I do not know about its availability I could agree along these lines as far as predictions. Polybags have been varied between stores and licenses. For example the first TMNT polybag that we had was from toys R us. I am uncertain that it will still appear there again since we had it once before. In Walmart you can find the Disney Princess polybag. This shows that I sensed polybags are varied between store locations as well as generic themes from Lego such as friends city and Chima.

With the release of new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets this year I would also imagine the polybag appearing from a shop at home promotion. It would make viable sense that this polybag would be available with the release of more TMNT sets. Just with the Lego movie sets once they were released they had a promotional polybag based on the LEGO Movie that helped boost sales. In promotions with Lego through shop at home or in the Lego store traditionally the items available were associated with another theme. Four and another example the hero factory accessory pack was available with any hero factory purchase in July 2013. This would motivate people to buy the accessory pack through buying your factory sets. This would also enable compatibility with the product because the accessory pack can work with other hero factory figures that were purchased to get the accessory pack.

In short all I am saying is that this promotional polybag may be available once the new TMNT sets are sold in stores and on the LEGO website. It may be an offer so that people will buy the new TMNT sets from Lego.

I agree with you as far as their variations. I have not watched the 1980s cartoons but I am slightly familiar with the modern cartoon from which the sets are based. If I keep up with the series I will let you know if the clothing variations are relevant to the show. As far as I know from the show they do not have these outfits available. And again you must remember that I have only seen half of the first season.

Although I am hoping in the future for a figure of Casey Jones, I do not believe that Lego would make the patrol buggies shown above. Such model is very similar to the one included with the Baxter robot rampage set. Although this is one of the four buggies that would have been used for the turtles, they said adaptation seems to match the ones shown above very well and also matches the ones in the show. One could attempt to buy them separately and then combine them with other turtles in order to get all four with their own accessories. Unfortunately you would have to buy them from other vendors so that you do not buy four sets of the Baxter robot rampage only to get the buggies.

In short the chances of Lego making the patrol buggies for each turtle are very unlikely. I would imagine that if Casey Jones had a significant purpose in the modern show or movie they would have made him as a figure.

Casey does have a significant part in the show, which is why I don't know why they haven't made him.

Okay thanks for letting me know. I assume you're talking about the 2012 show since that's the one lego based their TMNT from. Maybe they're saving it up for something special? Like a set with him as an exclusive figure.

Casey has only been around since series 2, and this wave is still mostly series 1. The T-rawket with Kirby bat is the only set based of the current series, so I assume we'll get more sets based around the new stuff in the next wave.

We have 2 foot soldiers in he second wave(animated series based sets), but i feel we got a substantial amount off foot soldiers but when can we get more Kraang, even with both waves we will only have four. :hmpf_bad:

Just noticed a nice detail on The Kirby Bat(Wingnut, Dr. O'neil, Kirby)in the show he had four arms and on the Minifigures torso there is a minifigure arm printed on and a small, miserable, deprived little arm on the opposite side to it.

GREAT spotting skills 'Steph 104th'. In the show, the deprived arm is there beause in the show they sliced one of and It freaked out. The purple wings are nice and are not cast just for this set?

^ the purple wings are from the monster fighter line. They also used them in a CMF bat and manbat from Batman. It looks like the Chima bats have different wings though.

Very observant of you to notice that. I've not noticed it until now, and I've seen numerous close-up images of it on here. It's a nice piece of detailing by TLG, and is definitely better than having extra arms on the minifigure.

I recently picked up the 79118 Karai Bike Escape.

At the beginning I was not interested in the Lego TMNT License, but I am having a second look at the line up.

The turtle minifig is well designed.

The shell piece have excellent mold. It is design such a way the Turtle can sit down without hindrance from the shell.

It is true that Lego plans to stop producing the Nickelodeon sets in favour for the Micheal Bay Movie version?
