SMC Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 ^ Almost the same here so that's why I think wave two might not have done as well as the first. Quote
Dorayaki Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I'm not really a loyal TMNT fan, but not to be offensive, as long as the TV series won't give huge changes on the main cast or the storyline, ithe necessity for us to see renewals in 2015 is just little. At least, it'd be nice to see this license come back later. Also not criticizing the movie itself, I'm not really a fan of any theme with two versions that require different sets of molds. The production cost could be used for Casey and the others. Quote
SMC Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 ^ They should have passed on the film for sure and made se 1980s sets Quote
Ultron Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 ^ They should have passed on the film for sure and made se 1980s sets Yes. The movie sets had hideous figures but decent builds. But 1980 cartoon sets would've made me actually buy some of them. Quote
Shawn Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 (edited) With the news of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line going to Mega Bloks, I dug through my closet and found all of my old Mega Bloks figures to see what sort of quality that we are in store for. I sure hope that they make better molds for this wave and work on their quality. Here is the full list of 13 original figures - You can see a larger image by clicking on the link. http://minifigpriceg...om-early-2000s/ and here is a picture of all of them other than the Donatello with the Large Head. Lazarus Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 They have the classic TMNT look what is kool, and they are 15 years old. I have been looking at the spngebob figs they have been doing this year and last and they are better than legos versions bar the arm joints. I will be keen to see what they do with the figs I dont want any sets just figs. Quote
deskp Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I don't understand why you are talking about the megabloks figs and such here. It has nothing to do with the 2014 lego sets. Quote
clra2 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Found a bunch of tmnt sets on clearance at Walmart for about 50% off. Decided to pick up T-Rawket Sky Strike, Mutation Chamber, Karai Bike Escape, and Turtle Van Takedown. Only built Turtle Van Takedown and I'm pretty impressed by the set. Love the foot soldier and I really like the turtle figs even though I hate the movie versions and have not seen the movie. The colors are also perfect for Mocs. I might have to pick up the Turtle Lair Invasion to complete the turtle team once it gets clearanced. Too bad this theme is getting retired but at least I jumped in before it was too late! Quote

Legocity2713 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 (edited) I'm sad to see the theme go. It really got me into LEGO after my entirely too long dark age. Thank you Lego TMNT for the great times. But if you ever come back, we would love a set based on the old television show. (*hint, hint*) Edited May 3, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote
