I went after Colin, and in your name! But I couldn't convict an uncontested vig claim...

And I waffled back and forth on him, vig vs SK, but finally took him out when I had the kill at the end. Either way, I had to have him gone :)

Nice job scum, pretty close finish there. Pity nobody went after Colin after I pretty clearly outlined all the ways he was being suspicious early on, but no matter! It was a fun game. Town players really need to read a bit more critically though; having to repeat the same thing 5 times because people misread it is quite frustrating!

Nice working putting that all together Tammo.

You must've stopped reading because I went after Colin as well. The uncontested vig claim threw me off of his Scumminess. His blatant ridiculous Scumminess. I thought maybe he was the vig and had just started really sucking as a player.

Good game, everyone!

You went after him on the Deadboard; it doesn't count then.

Thank you very much for letting me play Tammo, I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed your hosting, especially the pictures and the humour. I hope to play in one of your games again.

Congrats scum, and commiserations fellow townies, especially Kristel who put so much into this game - you played so hard and so well, so I hope you're still proud of what you accomplished.

Good game, everyone, and great job to the scum! Tammo, Mafia After Dark was even better than Silver City. I hope I get the chance to play in another of your games!

No. I went after him like crazy in the game. What game were you reading?

Wait a second...you weren't in the game!

Thanks for the good time, Tammo. I hope I was more active in this one than I was in the last game you hosted. Even if I did last for such a short amount of time.

Tammo, awesome job hosting. The fact that anyone could have one, down to the wire speaks to the great set of balance this game had. I'm not sure that the no-PM rule really works. I think we're damn lucky Kristel had the Comm Expert role, but either way it really worked in this game. I know you'll continue to improve because you always look for feedback. So keep hosting even better games and looking for feedback from people you trust. Thanks for the fun game and for letting Chillax invade with his horrendous grammar in the confirmation thread.

I gotta say, Tammo, I only loosely followed the game, but it looked like a ton of fun. Tightly run, lots of good humor, and most importantly it appeared extremely well balanced - it really looked like anyone's game up until the end. Congrats!

I was actually very surprised how well balanced this ended up being - I thought the no private talking would hurt much worse than it did. Well, I guess it hurt town hard for a while, then it finally started to get more obvious and they killed off scum pretty quickly near the end.

Thanks again for all your kind comments, guys; I had a really great time, and I was definitely happy to have you all!

Dead writeboard for those who want it, btw:

Yeah, it was truly anywon's game at the end there. Thanks for the kind comments - and thank you for playing as well!

The PM rule does work, but only if town has something to back it up (Comm Expert + Universal Backup). If anything, it forces vanillas who would just sit around waiting to be mislynched to work hard. Lots of vanillas this game played hard and were able to really get their hands dirty, which was my intention.

And I have to say, I learned at least ten times as much from this game as I did in Silver City. I've got some good ideas for my next game!

Well, I'm glad you enjoyed what you saw of it! Thank you!

I'm sorry, town, for not doing better. Maybe I should have pulled out when I thought I should have, but I hate pulling out of these games, especially when Town wasn't in such a good situation. So I just tried to make my way through the last half of the game. At the end I think I got complacent because I never thought anyone would vote for me over mostlytechnic or any of the other scum members. Honestly, for a while I thought that Kristel and Peanuts may have just been playing with mostlytechnic and would change their votes at the end. I was very busy in those last days, but I managed to take an extended lunch break to look seriously over the first couple of days, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to make Kristel and Peanuts change their votes. Tammo, if I had gone with the "modkilled" idea, would you have modkilled me? I was thinking of communicating with Peanuts by PM and have him tell you, but I thought you probably wouldn't interfere in such a way, especially to take the victory away from the scum.

No worries! When it's all said and done, it's just a game. It doesn't really matter who one. Just do better next time or I'll find you and punch you in the face.

Fun reading there in the deadboard - looking back, yeah, I see how scummy I was. At the time I didn't see it, but heck, it was my first scum experience.

Oh, I just remembered now...

I hate you! Die, scum!

No, Palathadric, I wasn't performing modkills or awarding penalties this game. Both of those constitute outside of game influence, which I feel should be absent from a game like this.

I was still going to be strict in enforcing my rules, I just didn't intend to let other players suffer for one player's incompetence.
