Posted September 29, 201311 yr I found this YouTube-Clip on the German News site www.spiegel.de It seems to be an old idea reborn with Lego MindStorms EV3. I was fascinated with this piece of technic. It was built by Jason Allemand. His also posts instructions for the machinery on his website: http://www.truedimensions.com
September 29, 201311 yr I saw it a week or 2 ago. I wanted to build it, but I don't have EV3 (yet). So I decided to try to build it with NXT. When I was done building and modifying it to properly use the nxt, I had to modify the EV3 program. "Well", I thought "that shouldn't be a big problem. They say you can program NXt with ev3 pc software too. Just remove and edit all the blocks that aren't supported by nxt". When I was done, I wanted to upload it to my nxt....... .....there wasn't enought memory For some reason, the programs made in EV3 are waaaay bigger (well, relatively of course) than the NXT software programs. Now I'm stuck with a building that can't do anything Anyway, it's a nice moc nonetheless
