Lightning Dragon Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 (edited) Nope, and next week, Lego Star Wars The Empire Strikes Outt will be airing in that time slot. Hopefully Ninjago starts up again the week after... Hopefully. Ugh...just when I started to like the show...About the "no one ever dies in Ninjago" thing, I think Garmadon is a more major characther than Samukai, or maybe even Pythor. I don't know how to say it in words, but Garmadon just is more important somehow. Too bad about how Pythor got eaten though. He was good, not like Garmadon sometimes. Oky said this, and I agree: it's like Garmadon is forced to be evil, and doesn't want to be bad. He loves Lloyd, and that isn't evil at all (but kind of sweet). I think Garmatron will be a purple/black version of Nya's armor. Garmadon probably builds it to take control of the Stone Army (most likely probably just to destroy the Ninja). This is kind of off topic, but I found the Lloyd ZX Spinner!!! EDIT: Garmadon's more important than Samukai, but Pythor was more important at one point. Now Garmadon is the main villain again. The term is "Central Antagonist" In other words, he's the "main villian" of the series with other less significant enemies on the sidelines to progress the story (Samukai, Pythor). Quote

Yeah, and probably the leader of the stone army as well - that is, when ever he comes around. Quote
Aanchir Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I was wondering something the other day. Once the Ninjago TV series ends and the Legends of Chima series presumably replaces it, how often do you think Ninjago reruns will air? Will Ninjago reruns cut into the time slots allotted for LoC reruns, or vice-versa? To be perfectly honest until last year I had basically stopped watching TV in general. Ninjago, MLP:FiM, and The Legend of Korra got me back into the habit, although now that I'm at college and don't have most of the channels for those shows I'm having to resort to the magic of the Internet to keep up-to-date (or will eventually, since currently new episodes aren't airing for any of those three shows). So I don't quite know how the airing of merchandise-driven TV shows like this tends to go. It's possible that brand-new time slots will be granted to Legends of Chima for its reruns, or that Ninjago reruns will be moved to a different time slot rather than outright replaced. But it definitely makes me curious since Ninjago sets will be on store shelves for a while still to come, and the show is the brand's main form of advertising. Quote

Kai NRG Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Great idea, kinda what I thought. IMO that would be cool, but I don't think TLG would do that; it would be too mush like a rehash. Besides, why would Garmadon need or want a robot - I really can't see how that would help him defeat the ninja(control the stone army. Quote
DraikNova Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Well, remember how Garmadon was too weak to use the megaweapon more than once a day? Something similar to that situation (possibly this timeline's events) might drive him to try and increase his power. Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 That is a good point DraikNova, I forgot about that I was thinking yesterday about Sensei Wu and if he has unlocked his true potential, and I thought that maybe he will apologise to Garmadon about not going to retrieve the sword and Garmadon going and getting bitten. Maybe then he will unlock his heart. Quote

I'm guessing that Garmadon unleases the Stone Army, but they don't want to be led by Garmadon. Therefore, Garmadon builds Garmatron to defeat the Stone Army Leader and become the leader of the Stone Army. Maybe. Quote
PenPlays Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I just thought that I'd bring up that IMDB still has the guide descriptions for the next 7 episodes and just by reading them, you can really connect the dots... Quote
DraikNova Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 (edited) You can guess a little using the names of the episodes, but the descriptions are false. EDIT: Wow, they've been corrected. When did that happen? However, the next couple of episodes still have the same descriptions. Edited September 22, 2012 by DraikNova Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 (edited) I guess, unless it is wrong (which wouldn't be rare), that the new kimonos are called PWR armor. I seriously doubt that as kimonos can't be classed as armor. EDIT: I found the trailer for episode 20 Edited September 22, 2012 by Wall E2624 Quote

My guess is the episodes will begin airing in Singapore or wherever again soon, so we should get bad quality in a little while. And something else just occurred to me: what if that weird robot/samurai thing is actually Garmatron/Garmadon (maybe he is Garmadon and his robot -if he has one - is Garmatron)? Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I thought it was a Stone Warrior, but yes, it was larger than I thought it would be, so chances are it is Garmatron but I think it would be a Stone Warrior. Maybe an elite class? Maybe there are better warriors that can't be defeated and are abnormaly large. I also wonder who that zookeeper woman is? Quote

I seriously doubt that as kimonos can't be classed as armor. EDIT: I found the trailer for episode 20 Not likely, since the term PWR Armor originates from the bogus plot summaries that were posted on IMDB for this season's episodes, back when a lot of people still thought pirates would be the main bad guys for the season. Since those summaries got next to nothing correct it's unlikely they'd have been correct about a term that was never seen elsewhere. Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 That is what I was saying about it most likely false. I didn't think they were correct. They sound like absolute bogus Quote

Tobias_Jay Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) I know it doesn't look like Garmadon but we don't know what Garmatron looks like either. We just never know. Also the likeliness of episode 20 being leaked is slim as the uploader received a strike and if you have a YouTube account, you know that is very bad. I am assuming he wouldn't take any more risks. Unless there is another YouTuber willing to take a risk. Edited September 23, 2012 by Wall E2624 Quote
Lance Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 From the trailer I heard Zane say "The devourer's venom must have awakened him" or something along the lines of that. Interesting... Quote

DraikNova Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) I too think that that thing is Garmatron. If so, I'm definitely happy. Also, note that in the new timeline, the Devourer thing is possible. Edited September 24, 2012 by DraikNova Quote
Aanchir Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 For those who really enjoy the music of the LEGO Ninjago TV series, Jay Vincent and Mike Kramer have added several tracks from the show to their YouTube channel, including some tracks that aren't on Jay Vincent's site. One of my favorites is "Zane Returns", but I also like "Meet Lloyd Garmadon". Also related to the music, shortly before I came up to college my younger brother Meiko and I had a phone conversation with Jay Vincent about the music, and he shared some neat insights. For instance, there is a sort of "musical language" in the show-- generally, strings indicate villainous characters and woodwinds indicate heroes. The Falcon's theme, which was written primarily by Mike Kramer, uses both strings and woodwinds to keep it ambiguous whether the Falcon could be trusted. Quote

Tobias_Jay Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Thank goodness I'm not the only one thinking this! EDIT: TBB asked a LEGO representative about when the next episode is out and he said the 26th of September Can someone please check their T.V guide for confirmation, I would but Australian Cartoon Network doesn't air the same as America. We haven't even started season 3 Edited September 25, 2012 by Wall E2624 Quote

We haven't even started season 3 I heard that, and except for the SW episode that's (also) supposed to be airing then, it seems likely. Even if it doesn't, it seems next Saturday we'll have a bad qualilty. Quote
