Ninja of Fire Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I'm sure it's been answered a lot previously, but do you guys know when DoTD and HoT will air? Cheers :) Quote
Mandate Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) DotD airs later this month 29th (thanks GarmaFan). HoT doesn't come out until next year, it's 30% done according to Tommy Andreason so might be February/March. Edited October 10, 2016 by Mandate Quote

DuckBricks Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 The Ninjago website has been updated with a new Hall of Villainy exhibit, featuring new DotD stills and character backstory that, while new and interesting, contradicts Tommy Andreasen in some manners. Thus, I'm taking the text with a grain of salt... Quote

I've been trying to open the page all day, but it gets stuck on the "Preparing the exhibit" loading screen on both Firefox and Chrome. I intend to report on it for BZPower once I can get it to work. gamejutzu Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 (edited) Just looking at all these pictures of Ninjago in general... They look so niiccce. It's all so crisp and good-looking (I'm a sucker for unique graphics and lighting). It would be so cool to get a Ninjago game with the same graphics as the show. Free roaming in Stiix or New Ninjago City or a stealth mission in Ouroboros would be so cool, and imagine rain effects too and how it would look mixed with the reds and neon greens . There's so much potential for a real Ninjago game too. Oh well, here's hoping the Lego-ized movie version will be good. Hope there's free roam there too. Also mine isn't loading either. You probably should take screenshots. What kind of pictures are they? Just in the museum, or all new backgrounds of locations just by themselves? Or screenshots of the show? I don't know why shots of the special would be in the season, but who knows :/ I've been spoiled on enough regarding the special anyway, so i'll pass if there's info about it there. Mandate Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Having an official "wiki" is nice, but the layout really needs some work, it's difficult to navigate. Virtual Tour isn't loading for me either. Quote

Yeah - Worked for me on mobile. I'll post screenshots in a sec Edit: Darn! They took it down! I'll post screenshots of what I saved from yesterday, as well as interesting descriptions. Here's one out of 20 pictures - go my my Flickr to see the rest (apologies as it's really time-consuming to post all 20 manually. And tidbits: The Elemental Weapons were discarded by the ninja, but a "superfan" found them and started his own rival museum. I confirmed this with Tommy Andreasen, and he said it's canon but he doesn't like it (I don't either, the Spirit Coves explanation was much better) Morro misread a scroll in Domu and went to the Caves of Despair instead of underwater, where he was killed by a kethanol geyser. Skulkin did not use axes very often and the museum mistakenly gave Samukai an axe. Pythor wonders what the antivenom in his staff does, as it is just a prop, but is too busy to try it out. Yang is completely insane and lost his mind as a ghost trapped in the temple. That's about all I can recall... Hope this helps! Edited October 11, 2016 by legozebra Quote

GarmaFan Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 (edited) Could someone give me a link to this Hall of Villainy? I can't find it on the site. Edit: Nevermind, found it. Edited October 11, 2016 by GarmaFan Quote

Takanuinuva Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 What was the spirit coves explanation? Also how can Cryptor come back as a ghost? Wasn't he reformatted to guard the realm crystal? Quote

Cryptor was destroyed when Zane blew up the Overlord. Apparently he has a.. "programmed soul". Quote
Mandate Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Clips from DotD are up on NinjaJayNuva's channel. Spoiler time, everyone :) The reason the Overlord/Golden Master didn't show up is because the museum hadn't unpacked their mannequins yet. I'm liking DotD so far. Quote

Yeah, those clips were really intriguing... Making me really hyped for DotD! I found it a bit odd that nobody noticed when Cole vanished, though... Hope there's a bigger explanation behind that... This could still mean they dropped them at the Spirit Coves... And someone found them... Making it partially canon... Even though a part of me is kind of sad this is less than an hour long, it still looks to be good. Also, I see they're still making errors with armor and chest plates... GarmaFan Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) So, the villains (or most of them, at least) didn't see each other around in the afterlife realm? Huh, I thought they'd all know each other. Kozu and Cryptor seem more lively than they did when they were.. alive. And I see Chen is back at it again with the buttons. It's cool to see and hear Samukai again after so long. Edited October 14, 2016 by GarmaFan Quote

IIRC Constrictai antivenom was to heal injuries related to asphyxiation. As for the Ancondrai, probably an antidote for indigestion. Of your skin. Quote

GarmaFan Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 (edited) Spoiler Spoilered for size. It's official, Morro's teaming up with the ninja. Edited October 18, 2016 by GarmaFan Quote
Aanchir Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 It struck me earlier that with Morro coming to Wu ahead of the other villains to warn him that they'd be returning, he plays a somewhat analogous role in this to Marley's ghost in "A Christmas Carol". Quote
TheBrickPal Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 So apparently Day of the Departed premieres today in Canada! https://t.co/ppNWL9AtGS Quote
