Lightning Dragon Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) The storyline is kind of wrecked, so I am just not thinking too much and just enjoying the action and stuff. The newest episode was pretty good. Well, we really can't be absolutely sure if Garmadon was in control then or not, but it would seem likely, since he could know about the inventor (whereas how would Samukai know?). Well, maybe Samukai has the power to see the mortal world, or something like that. Edited October 19, 2012 by Lightning Dragon Quote

The newest episode was pretty good. Well, maybe Samukai has the power to see the mortal world, or something like that. Samukai rules the underworld. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he has some knowledge of people who are about to die. I think the storyline's still going strong, though this particular episode was a bit weak. The previous two episodes were strong enough to make up for it IMO, and I think the return of Zane's father wasn't just a random story thread, but rather something that will lead into important happenings in the episodes to come. DraikNova Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 It's isn't that good, but I think the creatures make up for it. There isn't enough wildlife in ninjago. Most of the creatures are affiliated with one faction or another. Quote

Most of the creatures are affiliated with one faction or another. Well, not really. In the TV show some of the main wildlife, like the treehorns and starteeth, are not affiliated with any faction. And the "explore Ninjago" section of the site lists lots of zany wildlife, which while never featured in the show was referenced by some entries in the 2011 weapons dictionary. The books don't feature too much wildlife, but there is an occurrence of a creature not seen elsewhere in the short story 'Ice Ambush' from the Official Guide. Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) Part one of the next episode poor quality (22): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHRunI4Prbg&feature=BFa&list=ULeS99MhyrGyMe And Part two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS99MhyrGyM&feature=channel&list=UL I like this episode a lot better than any of the previous few. And Cole's power drill looks way bigger in the show! Edited October 20, 2012 by Kai NRG Quote
MakutaNocturn Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 This vehicle looks bigger like all of them in the show... But it looked really nice in action. It reminded me some nfs games :D Quote
Meiko Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 This vehicle looks bigger like all of them in the show... But it looked really nice in action. It reminded me some nfs games :D That could really make an awesome game, but maybe more like GTA, where you can also walk around and stuff, and made in the style of the TV show. I can't wait for the rest of the season. It seems to be taking the approach to go out in an epic finale. The one thing that I don't hope is that too many questions are left unanswered, but when I talked to Jay Vincent on the phone, he assured me that it ends with all questions answered. Quote
DraikNova Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) Well, the Stone Army vehicles look awesome. The Samurai Bike has a way better weapon in the show and that saw-blade vehicle is superb. Cole's drill is much bigger, which makes sense as it is the main vehicle of the show apparently. DraikNova Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 (edited) Nice to know I was on the right track with the idea that the Golden Dragon was a spinjitzu apparition. It's awesome, but I wish it was an actual dragon. Edited October 21, 2012 by DraikNova Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 It will probably come as a real dragon soon. Maybe the Sword of Fire that is included in the set is not actually the Sword of Fire, maybe it will summon the golden dragon and turn Lloyd golden. Just an avid theory but that sword can't be the Sword of Fire. Quote

I agree, maybe though, it doesn't even show up in the show, and LEGO just decided to give the Sword of Fire one more set since it wasn't included in the first wave? Quote
DraikNova Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 I think it might become a real dragon once Lloyd has mastered the fighting style. Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 There is also a trailer for the episode 24 (bad quality): http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=FsMaOocmU2I Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 I want that robot as a set. I agree. What a pity that isn't Garmatron! Quote
DraikNova Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 I´m just hoping that robot becomes an exclusive. It would be a waste to not make a set out of Garmadon´s super weapon. Quote

Especially if it came with Zane and Jay, I really don't want to get the Stone Warrior vehicles just for the ninjas! On the topic, don't the new kimonos really look fabulous in the show? And the ninjas still use their brackets. Quote
DraikNova Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 (semi) Off-topic: I hope a possible Garmadon robot set will feature Lloyd in his green kimono, as I doubt the show will show Golden Ninja Lloyd until the very last episode or two. Quote

Green Kimono Lloyd is the exclusive minifigure of the Ninjago Visual Guide; I doubt they'd include that outfit in any other set. Quote
PenPlays Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 (edited) Okay I saw the trailer for episode 24, and I can't wait any longer for HD episodes. Does anyone know how hard it is to avoid the low-quality ones? It's almost driving me crazy, and that preview doesn't help!! Edited October 23, 2012 by Penkid11 Quote

Generally high-quality versions tend to show up online the same evening the episodes air in the United States. I tend not to watch the low-quality versions at all if I can avoid it. Quote
DraikNova Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I´m just glad we don´t have to wait anymore for that hiatus to be over. Quote
