Mandate Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Woah, glad to see they stuck with the "glowy redy symbols on enemy weapons" thing, but man... Wu looks almost as creepy as Garmalord. I'm wondering why he's at Ed and Edna's Scrap n' Junk, I suppose... wait, mini-plot point just came together. Zane was made of spare parts. Perhaps this is the Overlord's attempt to find more of the same? Quote
coolcab1 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 New character vids on lego's website and it was awesome! Quote
ssorcam Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Hope they come out with a staff with the glowing emblems on it for Evil Wu. Doubt it though. Quote
Mandate Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 They won't, Wu won't be returning this year (neither will Garmadon for that matter), only Kai, Jay, Zane, Lloyd and Nya will be featured in sets again this year. They almost never (and have never) printed the rod used as a bamboo staff in a set before, and presumably Wu will be "restored" next year. And if not, well, he'll have a new style anyway so I wouldn't count on it anyway Quote
PenPlays Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Today at the New York Toy Fair, Lego made a point by adding a graphic on each of the set details tags next to their sets that displays the airing date of TV series/movies. It says that Ninjago will be airing from October through November (For proof that these times are factual, all Lego Movie sets display a February-March tag. Due to the average amount of time a movie is available in theaters, and the Movie's release date, the time period adds up.) Quote
Mandate Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) ...dangit LEGO. That really sucks. EDIT: You know what? Screw it. I don't believe a word of that. Not calling you a liar, but I have no reason to believe that LEGO would deliberately try to kill NINJAGO after they brought it back. The sets came out in January, and we're only getting two later this year. We've already gotten clips from the third episode, and I sincerely DOUBT they would drag footage of Wu out when not a single scrap of new footage for Garmadon came out. Yes, I'm serious. Garmadon's character video featured nothing from the Rebooted stuff. Not to mention that CN has already aired Episodes 1 and 2, and it wasn't in the fashion of Chima last year. That being said, if this really is true, and NINJAGO is being delayed, that's more or less made the line dead to me because my interest will shift. Ugh... Edited February 17, 2014 by JayWalker Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I agree, delaying Ninjago will be a bad idea, as JayWalker said, Lego just rebooted Ninjago. Why would Lego put it on hold while Chima has like a Gazillion sets this year and two full seasons of TV series. I'm alittle mad, and Ninjago better get good screen time in 2015... Quote
PenPlays Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) and Ninjago better get good screen time in 2015... I believe that may be the reason why the season is starting so late. You see, Ninjago is moving to the big screen next year. Chima is gonna get the dirty end of the boot when it comes to the number of releases next year, especially when you compare The Lego Movie sets, and their promoting this year. You start promoting the movie while the season airs... $$$ Edited February 17, 2014 by Penkid11 Quote
Mesonak Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) I believe that's not correct; while it may line up with the graphic regarding The Lego Movie, it doesn't match up with the Hero Factory theme. This picture shows a projected TV show date of "Sept-Oct, Dec." That would be all well and good had the 22-minute TV special already been released, and to my knowledge, we are not getting another one this year. So, while I can't explain why the graphic says that, I can say with certainty it's probably incorrect, and that casts doubt upon this Ninjago graphic in my eyes. These little notes are present at every Toy Fair. People often get hyped about the prospect of TV series for their favorite series, like Monster Fighers. But if we're thinking about the same notes, they refer to TV commercials, not TV series, movies, or specials. It is a bit odd to start airing commercials for some of these mid-year releases in the fall, but I guess it's to get people thinking about them before Christmas. Starrocks923 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Good grief, the wierd Nya/Cole relationship crosses over from the show to Graphic Novel #9: Night Of the Nindroids! I sure hope this thing gets resolved soon. It kind of brings back uncomfortable personal memories of being friendzoned. :( Hatred wells in my soul. There will be death. Lil' kid's... Y U DO DIS? I found a better link of LEGO NINJAGO EPISODE 29 30 FULL http://youtu.be/H_tUOflKIis To quote the kids from another silly movie they uploaded: "I don't see Zane's blood in the street." PenPlays Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 (edited) So parents are giving full access to the internet to six-year-olds these days... some world. Why do parents even allow this? Aren't they signed up for email updates on comments made on their child's videos? Its videos like this that are full of cyber-bullies and death-threats from tweens that really have no say. Things that irritate me in this world fall into hypothetical volcanoes. Underage children that spread Lego falsehoods like wildfire fall into the same volcano as big-shot Lego reviewers (YCF, Brickshow, I'm looking at you). Of course I would never wish for this to happen to either of them literally. Just making a point. Edited February 24, 2014 by Penkid11 Quote

Diamond_Sun Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Has anyone thought about when Pixal says to Zane, "you and me are the same"? It might be in the sense that they are both robots, but also, if you factor in other things, like when Dr. Julian says "I made you Zane'" doesn't that also show that he might also have some connection with Pixal? However, in the description for Pixal, it says "Cyrus Borg's Personal Assistant", that statement alone shows possession of Pixal to Cyrus Borg. So, from my thesis, that hints at a connection between Dr. Julian and Cyrus, perhaps as partners in the construction of Zane. And as Pixal is the 16th model of her kind , could 15 other models be constructed in the time between the seasons? I think not. Also, why was Dr. Julian living in the middle of nowhere? Was his work secret, or was he shunned for his scientific work? (Zane, possibly Pixal) Well, those are just my thoughts. Feel free to correct me if I put misinformation. Quote
TheBrickPal Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Does anyone know when the next episode is set to air? Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I heard march, but I can't confirm or source it. Just a rumor. Quote

No offense, but making that connection seems like you're pulling facts out of nowhere. Also, what actually happened to Zane's father? Cyrus Borg says what happened to him was sad. Hm? Quote
