Btw, have you read the blog Ninjago: The Final Theory? It seems to have episode descriptions for the rest of the Rebooted Season, which confirm (sort of) that the ninja are going to space.

I'm pretty sure the summaries are accurate as it had The Curse of the Golden Master summary way before the episode actually came out, and it was accurate.

http://ninjago-theor...he-final-theory

It's a fan theorist site that edits it's information when it is no longer relevant to keep consistency... The description for Curse of The Golden Master was WAY off before it was edited to it's description now.

There are also plenty of theories on that site that are too far off from ever being relevant (some of them sound like some little kid's fantasy on what they "are certain" will be the future of Ninjago). The writer of that site loves to use their fanfic as a comparable source for factual material as well.

It's part of the reason I dis-appreciate such sites.

Ah, thanks for the tip! I honestly didn't realize that they had edited it. Did he edit his comments about the episode or the actual summary?

Yes.

I've learned to stay as far away from fanon/speculation sites as much as possible. They're full of hooey as most of them are based on unrealistic fantasies, theories, and/or ideas that could never become relevant in the primary medium the stories come in. This includes gender benders and... the "love" ones (no specifics for that one  ).

Sonic the Hedgehog is a primary example of such a breeding ground of disinterest...

But enough about that.

If I may say about those theorist's "leaked" episode synopses, they do seem to tie together quite well. I would not be dissatisfied if Ninjago leads in the space direction, in fact I think that that would be pretty cool. Now if only they had made space sets...

I wonder what exactly the serpentine will be doing in the next few episodes. I remembered there was a discussion a while ago about how their past changed, I think they could just be lying to the ninja. Something suspicious is how did the tomb open. I'm thinking that Pythor could be working with them, but they probably don't know he's allied with the overlord if he is working with Scales.

Because the city was destroyed completely when the stone army/the overlord took over and were later defeated. The tomb door surely cracked in the process. It just wasn't rebuilt like everything else on-ground of course.

Um, no. I think it was pretty well established that the city was destroyed by the Stone Army prior to the Overlord's takeover. That's not to say that the Overlord did nothing but "evilify" it, but the majority of work was done on The Day NINJAGO Stood Still  (lame pun ftw) One of the lines by Cole's father of Dareth as they quite literally kicked Kozu out of the Mojo Dojo implies it was already ruined. Not to mention that the scenes before that all indicated that NINJAGO city was in ruins.

Regarding all that, "The Final Theory" stuff... it's just a hype machine. The same guy (if I recall correctly) also made the "Zane: Version Zero" theory. I almost laughed my head off when I first read THAT. And of course, the entire thing was completely baseless and surrounded the idea that Borg was a relative of Julien, or at least knew him somehow (the latter turned out to be true, but given the connection between Borg and Nindroids I wouldn't say that the former was baseless) and that there was an evil prototype of Zane or that Zane was evil once, hence the memory switch.

If the Final Theory does update their blog as the episodes go along, then it's completely baseless other than for the leaked episode list. And for all we know, that entire list will change soon enough. I recall a leaked episode list mentioning Pirates, the Stone Army etc (and Jay and Nya having a kid  ) last time NINJAGO was on air. It was a rough sketch of the plot. A lot was changed, but it wasn't completely baseless. As of yet I don't think and 8-episode season was confirmed (or denied, but I could be wrong). At this point it's just too early to tell the plot other than that the Overlord's going to do something. And he'll use a something to destroy the something and steal the something. That's all that's confirmed

I don't think the Serpentine would make the mistake of working with Pythor. His mad plan to unleash the Great Devourer already threatened to doom them once, and I don't think Skales would ally with someone who is so significant a threat to his own leadership. Do I think the Serpentine are trustworthy? Of course not. But I also think that their attempts to reform themselves seem genuine and in-character for a faction that has seen all their attempts at world domination come back to bite them. Perhaps one day they will muster the resolve to become a threat to Ninjago once more, if given the means and the opportunity. But I don't think Skales would kowtow to an entity as dangerous as the Overlord, or even to Pythor.

In terms of easter eggs, what happened to Kruncha and Nuckal?

How did the Serpentine get that door open? They weren't able to tunnel through it and a group of indestructible warriors couldn't break through it, so how could they? And where di Skales ever get his newspaper from- the people of New Ninjago City would never have allowed him to exit the new tomb.

Actually, I think the newspaper and groceries are a big sign that at the very least the Serpentine aren't being completely honest. Considering they mentioned that they had sworn never to return to the surface, it's a pretty big boo-boo if it was a mistake on the part of the Hageman brothers. Someone still had to unlock that tomb, and nothing seen in NINJAGO has that kind of capability. It's also a bit curious as to where the whole oath-taking thing came from. Heck, the entire IDEA of the serpentine turning a new leaf, at least completely, is absurd. If they knew all along the Golden Master would come to power, why did they try to take over NINJAGO in the first place?

Maybe they felt like they had a chance. Pythor did seem believable when he proposed the idea to awaken the Devourer.

Also has anyone come to the realization that the door that sealed the Stone Army may not be as impervious to destruction as we thought. I mean the Stone Army consisted simply of lifeless statues, there really is no need for there to be impenetrable doors to seal them off.

The people of New Ninjago City aren't exactly the bravest bunch. If Skales wanted a newspaper and groceries, all he had to do was slither into a grocery store, pay a frightened cashier, and slither back home. Citizens would simply hide or run off in fear.

It also seems that the robots (Cole's Earth Mech) only react to things that impose a threat. If one scanned a non-hostile Serpentine, it is very unlikely that it would not react.

They are indestructible, or at least incredibly close to it. The serpentine can't dig through it, so someone else had to unlock it. It wouldn't have just gone "poof".

Considering that the citizens of New Ninjago City came armed and ready to a group of ninja that defeated the Overlord, the Great Devourer (yeah yeah, Garmadon did it. Garmadon's the Sensei now, so he counts as a ninja now), and various other villains/graphic novel characters, I'd have to say they were pretty brave. At least in roleplay, anyway

The way the door was cut implies that the Serpentine really couldn't get out until someone cut it open with a laser. Just watch that part of the episode again. The Serpentine had no tools to do that kind of damage. If they really could get out, Skales' whining was really out of character when he got locked in there.

It just seems like there are some gaps in the story from Season 2 to Season 3. And I really miss Kruncha and Nuckal!

To be honest I'm surprised no one has suggested that Misako will play a part in the "Evil Wu" thing like Lloyd had with Garmadon.

Episode 31 titled Techno Strike will air in Germany tomorrow along with episodes 27-30. Apparently the ninja are being sent inside the computer the Overlord is trapped in to defeat him (which totally sounds like Tron, which is totally awesome). Stay tuned.

I've got the episode recorded, but I haven't got around to watching it yet. I can spot some awesome-looking scenes already, though. ^^

NP Gata, take as much time as you want. If you don't want to upload it due to legal concerns, that's more then fine with me.(Side note-I know you are two users on one account, but which one of you was my friend in LEGO Universe? Just curious.)

I honestly haven't found the new season very satisfying personally. Of course I watch every episode and even enjoy them to varying extents, I just haven't found the more recent episodes as interesting as the pilot. I find Pythor a much more interesting character now, but I never really wanted his return in the first place-or the idea that the Serpentine survived being trapped in the tomb without provisions.(I'm ammune to the consequence of them being in the show right now because I own them all. :P)

That's what Meiko's parentheses were for.

However, this is what I said.

Yeah, I'm not sure about uploading them. Last time I uploaded them to YouTube, they were immediately removed and I was issued a warning. -.-

As to your other question, it was both of us. No really, we played LEGO Universe together like 95% of the time. Most of the time one of us would control the character and the other would take care of backpack and equipment and of course we chatted together. :P Gosh, that was so fun, I miss LU. :(
