Mandate Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Ultra Agents does not exist in Ninjago, Paleman and Tox's appearances were the only thing from Ultra Agents that ever made it in, and that's a fact. Their names are different from their UA counterparts, and their backstories are completely different with zero references, and outright denial, of the UA version. As for "realms", you're really misusing the term. There are 16 Realms that exist either alongside or including Ninjago, currently consisting of Ninjago itself, the Cloud Kingdom, the Dark Realm, the (now destroyed) Cursed Realm and Chima. The ten that remain are unknown we'll find out about soon enough. As I was saying though, to call TLM a realm (even in quotation marks) is blatantly missing the point of what a realm is to NINJAGO's canon. TLM exists so far completely outside of NINJAGO, the only real shared theme between the two is Lloyd showing up, and that was as canon to NINJAGO as TLM's BIONICLE reference was to BIONICLE. Personally seeing Chima sharing the same overall universe with NINJAGO was too much. NINJAGO's lore is just going to feel cheap and less true to itself if they continuously introduce other themes in the mix. At the end of the day, there isn't really any point to making other themes part of NINJAGO's canon, especially when NINJAGO outlives them (most notably in the case of Clutch Powers). Quote
Dorayaki Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) Agree. Dimensions and TLM things would better be called "other canons" rather than "other realms". As for UA I didn't notice that much, so not sure if UA could be connect with Ninjago in a clear order (suppose that Tox had ever been to Astor City). Just discussing the general LEGO worlds, Chima, BIONICLES and Elves are obviously not in the same "realm" with other themes based on our daily life, I think that makes sense and is not too much. However, yet like otheres' said, the theory of realms might vary in different themes and they don't count all current LEGO themes. Perhaps Elves would say there are twenty worlds for different spirits and Ninjago isn't even part of them. :p. Wonder how realms be used in further series. Perhaps future enemies would come from other realms to Ninjago so that they have to go across multiple realms. Edited August 27, 2015 by Dorayaki Quote
Mandate Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 It's heavily implied season 6 will have something to do with the other realms, but so far from what little we've seen I'm not sure how much of a connection we'll see. There's not enough information at this point to make an accurate enough guess. Quote

My guess would be, since the new adversaries will be sky-pirates, that the ninja will re-visit Cloud kingdom. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I don't follow the show, but I had a question, will Ronin still be around now that the ghost arc is done ? Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I don't follow the show, but I had a question, will Ronin still be around now that the ghost arc is done ? Well, He didn't die, so your guess is as good as mine Quote
gamejutzu Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Another question regarding the next season... Will Sensei actually encounter the husky in the Master Wu dragon set? It looks like it's in Sensei's colors as well, And I think it would be an awesome addition. Quote
Mandate Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Probably not. Quite a fair bit of stuff in the sets didn't make any kind of appearance this season, which is a real shame because there was plenty of awesome stuff. I'm not sure if even the Morro Dragon made much of an appearance, it just seemed to disappear after Morro learned Airjitzu. Quote
Aanchir Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) New interview with the Hageman brothers, with some teasers for the upcoming season! Are there now 15 realms with the assumption that the Cursed Realm has been destroyed? Or has it?One would think there might be consequences to destroying a realm. Also a downloadable high-resolution image of the Skybound Flag! Edited September 9, 2015 by Aanchir Quote
Takanuinuva Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) Another Ninjago Filler Bad Chair Day Now I wonder what other Chair puns they could do for Fillers All's Chair in love and war comes to mind As for what Aanchir said I don't think the cursed realm is destroyed. Just trapped at the bottom of the ocean. The Preeminent didn't seem to dissolve when Nya shoved her down with a tidal wave. It also gives Garmadon a way to come back. If the inside of the Preeminent hasn't been flooded from water entering her. Edited September 9, 2015 by Takanuinuva Quote
DuckBricks Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I wonder if Skybound is the name of the new season, a faction of pirates, or something else... Quote
Mandate Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Bad Chair Day has been out for a while now (or maybe it was the Asian version?) . Quote
PenPlays Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 As someone who wants to go into the voice acting field, I'm above ecstatic to see this featurette pop up on my feed! Quote

Had to give it a Like within the first 30 seconds. Seeing Mark Oliver's face while performing the "Garmadon laugh" and the rest of them while performing... more entertaining than quite a few episodes of NINJAGO Quote
DuckBricks Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) That video was so strange and yet so cool to see the actual voice actors! I agree, the Garmadon Laugh was hilarious and great to see the real voice actor perform it. Anyway, there's another behind the scenes vid, I hope this is going to be ongoing! http://www.lego.com/en-us/ninjago/videos/dvd-behind-the-scenes-animation-a51ff31e8269444a83da4b590438f393 Edit: after actually watching the vid, it seems to have been released on (someone's random) YouTube channel a few years ago. Does this mean they're publishing the DVD extras? Most likely, given the titles of the videos. Edited September 16, 2015 by legozebra Quote

Exetrius Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Yes, it is alway great to watch behind the scenes, especially with voice actors. For those who were wondering what the Live show thing was about, I found a vid: http://youtu.be/vXJeNgnt0J0 Quote
Mandate Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) Dan and Kevin Hageman just confirmed on Twitter that Shadow of Ronin is, in fact, canon. EDIT: They corrected themselves! Realm of Shadows is canon, not Shadow of Ronin It raises its own set of questions, though. So that means: Anyone who died in the Preeminent didn't actually die. Well, cool to know Garmadon is potentially back, please don't kill him again Hageman brothers. Edited September 22, 2015 by Mandate Quote

LegendsOfNinjago Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I saw that earlier, but Zane is Yellow again in Realm of Shadows...Also I want a set with the Ying Yang Dragon and the ninja suits that are similar to year one with a year one with a year five flair....sorry Sets hopes. I just hope the new season they can rectify some of these holes. Quote
Mandate Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) The Hageman brothers hinted over on Twitter that Clouse broke out of the Preeminent, rather than escaping after it died. Is this the new "Ask Greg?"? Edited September 25, 2015 by Mandate Quote
Mandate Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Apologies for the double-post (it's been two weeks since the last post, give me a break), and a thanks in advance to NinjaJayNuva for pointing it out. A recent tweet by the Hageman brothers questioned whether or not Jay's last name truly is Walker. Well, I'm guessing that Jay was adopted by Ed and Edna, and his true parents are the pirates we're seeing. However, this conflicts with the repetitive "born in a junkyard" dialogue, but frankly I wouldn't be surprised if that's either been overlooked or ignored. If it allows for an awesome twist in season 6, I'm all for the retconning of it. What do you guys think? Quote

It's kinda odd too, as not only does it list Ed and Edna as having the last name "Walker," but Lego actually named one of Jay's vehicles after his full name as well! You can't really retcon it at the point that happens. Edited October 9, 2015 by Penkid11 Quote
DraikNova Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Either that, or they had to change their names to hide and escape. Seriously, dormant electric powers + working in a junkyard = unavoidable catastrophe. Even if it was just that they had to hide from some pirates who they used to work for as mechanics or something.
