JopieK Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 very nice indeed, I like it, if you look at the upper image, it is hard to see at first that it is a LEGO microscope! Quote
skriblez Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 This is really something special and awesome! I will defiantly support it on Cuusoo to Quote
quilkin Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I didn't know Lego made a magnifying glass! This is so realistic, from the first pic I didn't think it was Lego either, until the tyre(s) gave it away. Brilliant, and so good to have something other than vehicles on here. Quote
timslegos Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I dont think i have ever seen something like this before! Nice work. tim Quote
aol000xw Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Amazing and I think it somehow fits very well on Cuusoo Quote
Jim Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 very nice indeed, I like it, if you look at the upper image, it is hard to see at first that it is a LEGO microscope! I had the same experience! This model is a perfect example why I wanted (or want) to do a non-vehicular contest Quote
Jim Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 This is mark II. Makes me wonder if we've ever seen mark I? Quote
Darth Dino Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Hi i am working for a microscope manufacturer - so for me this is a great MOC. Looks exactly like many older students and pupils microscopes. You have a sense for details. Does your stage move in X and Y. Suggestions for Mark III: Phase contrast, Fluorescence, motorised scanning stage, Plan Apo Objectives.... (just kidding) ;) Dino Quote
jantjeuh Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Very original indeed! Put it on Cuusoo, as others suggested! Quote
Tamas Juhasz Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 (edited) Brilliant idea! Is there a special placing of the glasses to get this enlargement? Do you have building instructions? (or are you planning to make it?) Edited October 4, 2013 by Mbmc Quote
D3K Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Awesome! This is one of those projects that will reach 10 000 supporters on Cuusoo in no time, if it were there, and for example IFLS (I f***ing Love Science) on facebook sees it! Like the ATLAS Large Hadron Collider (or whatever is the correct name) did. But this is even better, as you can actually magnify stuff quite a bit with it, whereas the LHC model didn't actually let you observe the collision of subatomic particles Quote
chorlton Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 very nice indeed, I like it, if you look at the upper image, it is hard to see at first that it is a LEGO microscope! Yup, I thought the first pic was a photo of "What I'm trying to make". It was only your comment made me scroll back up again and double check. Quote
jantjeuh Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 This needs to be on the frontpage after that brilliant motorcycle MOC Quote
Zerobricks Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Frontpage this genious idea! Doesnt get any more unique than this! Quote
Teessider Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 That's a brilliant MOC. It gets my vote on CUUSOO. I would love to see this as an official set. Quote
Someonenamedjon Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Haha! Now make an electron microscope! Quote
