Doc_Brown Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 WOW, this is just too good! Like others have said, I didn't even realize it was Lego until closer inspection. Great original project! Quote
Brick_Laboratory Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 Brilliant idea! Is there a special placing of the glasses to get this enlargement? Do you have building instructions? (or are you planning to make it?) Thanks! If you check the notes on this image it shows the placing I used to get it to work: I'm not planning on making instructions, but hopefully LEGO will do that for me if the Cuusoo is successful! Hi i am working for a microscope manufacturer - so for me this is a great MOC. Looks exactly like many older students and pupils microscopes. You have a sense for details. Does your stage move in X and Y. Suggestions for Mark III: Phase contrast, Fluorescence, motorised scanning stage, Plan Apo Objectives.... (just kidding) ;) Dino Thanks! Right now the stage just rotates so you can look at the three different moonstones, but I do plan on adding x/y stage adjustment in the future. Quote
Jeff Schield Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 That would be a fun kit for the classroom. Build it, then use it! Quote
