"Do we want to absorb the Sun Elemental's Free Hits for now, so we don't risk losing our artifacts? I can take its Free Hit with no ill effects, but that would require that either I be third in the Order of Actions, or that we only target three enemies and have everyone take a Free Hit."

Shouldn't the free hit against me just be nullified rather than moving to the next person in order? The description of Optimism says 'safe from free hits' rather than avoiding it like in the case of Hide, and it's worded the same on Rally when the entire party is safe from them. But I'm not sure how Zepher intended it.

"Well great friggin' job Catnip, now you can't shoot anything," grumbled Atramor. Why is it everyone who tagged along with him always seemed to want to get themselves killed?

He shook his head, taking Nyx's place in attacking Dune Ghoul A from the back row.

OoC: can a blinded hero attack and thus negate a free hit?

Namyrra groans as the stubborn demon hunter ruins her carefully laid plan.

"Catnip, if you're going to keep megablocking up so we all get killed you might as well leave now. If not, drink a remedy, get back in line, and follow my orders from now on. I'm trying my best to keep us all alive here, but that won't work if you don't stick to the plan. If you can't stick to the plan feel free to megabluck off now and die alone in the desert."

"Guys, I think we'll be taking a hell of a beating from free hits this round, just can't see any way for us to avoid something like seven of them getting free hits on us. Docken, Atramor, it looks like you'll be the only ones attacking this round, so you might as well ensure that the free hits we take are from the weaker enemies. That is, attack the Sand Devils. Next round I'd like to use some smelling salts, can't do it this round or I'll have to take two of the free hits, and I'm afraid I can't handle that."

"Catnip, please, she's old, and she's just annoyed you don't do what she says, but she's not a bad person, she's just used to commanding people like her horde." Nyx shrugs uncomfortably and turns "Namyrra, can't you see Catnip's passion here? She really is fighting for a damn good reason, and we need her." She sighs. "Catnip, I know you want to focus on the demons, but we want them dead as much as you do, we really do. Maybe we're just more used to fighting in a team than maybe you are, but a lot of what we do in Heroica relies on strategy and teamwork. Will you work with us? QM Note: No, stunned isn't cured by getting hit in any case. One must always spend one turn to recover from being stunned. That means Byblos will have to do that this round (since he couldn't act at all during the previous round), unless he is remedied.
