June 24, 20159 yr Hi OldVagrant and welcome to Eurobricks! For future reference there's a general SW Q&A thread pinned to the top of this forum. I'll merge this with it in a bit Re: your question, personally I prefer the old ones, but that's just me!
June 24, 20159 yr Another question about suitable parts. Been thinking about creating the two characters from the upcoming TOR story KoTFE, and wondered about the suitable parts (near enough as possible) to make them up. And just wondered if anyone might know as such (if anyone does that is) Edited June 24, 20159 yr by AudiBobaR5-D2

And just wondered if anyone might know as such (if anyone does that is) Well, they're twins... I figured maybe Ninjago would have some good options, but as the series progressed Zane (the white one) displayed more android bits and wasn't as 'uniform' with the rest, but one of their first outfits have matching white & black torsos that could work. There are probably decent matching legs (beyond plain white or black) too. And matching heads should be simple enough, some plain, stern, no-stubble heads, and either regular male short hair or the combed-back or combed-side-part hair in reddish brown would probably be best, as they have such short hair. I'm not sure if there are any decent fleshie half-masked/cyborg heads for the white one after he's injured, but cyborg arms are easy enough to throw on there with silver or pearl dark gray arms.

Thanks again Venkefedo for the help of what parts to both of my questions, much appreciate it.
June 25, 20159 yr I put together some of the parts I suggested for Carth & snapped a pic, posting it in the "Purist SW" thread over in the Minifig Customisation Workshop. Edited June 25, 20159 yr by Venkefedo
June 26, 20159 yr Hi, I believe many of you seen this awesome built by Titans Creations What caught most of my attention is the cockpit area. The pilot seat is beautifully built but I am not able to identify the element. Here's the most detail photo search from google. Maybe some expert can find out. One more close up.
June 26, 20159 yr Hi dwong, I think that Nom's correct. For future reference there's a general SW Q & A thread pinned to the top of this forum; I'll merge this with it in a bit Cheers, Robin

There isn't really any rule to use, but essentially just use common sense to try to figure it out. For example the X-Wings aren't huge, and are a single person ship. All of them are pretty close to minifig scale. Anything similarly sized is most likely minifig scale. Something like the Falcon, however, is not minifig scale, as it is known to be huge. AT-AT's and stuff like that are in a similar boat. Really almost every fighter is close to minifig scale, and large ships aren't. I could make a list at this point but I'm too lazy I hope this helps!

Thanks, I already figured that the x-wings and other fighters were pretty much accurate scale, but I did not know about some of the bigger ones.

June 29, 20159 yr Death Star Final Duel for sure, try and catch it on sale or find a damaged box that's been marked down. Superb set with ultimate versions of key characters. Smaller sets on a budget - any of the Battle Packs are a good choice, or Battle of Saleucami. Also, the 2014 kits probably have to be going on sale soon because the TFA stuff is coming in just 2 months, so maybe watch out for discounts on those. Many sets are good. Much easier to tell you what sets to AVOID paying full price for - fbtb's reviews are good for this, but off the top of my head from sets currently available: Ghost and the Phantom suck with significant modification, Naboo Starfighter is a lot of fluff, Tyderium isn't worth it unless you really like that ship and those specific iterations of the characters, and the Hailfire Droid is pretty pointless.A lot of the ROTS stuff from last year as well, like the Vulture Droid or the V-Wing or Anakin's yellow starfighter.

Well the Ghost and Phantom aren't bad sets, they're just a little overpriced, so if you get it as a gift, or on sale then it's a good pair of sets. Edited June 29, 20159 yr by IronFish
June 29, 20159 yr Hi Negronicus, and welcome to Eurobricks! For future reference, there's a general SW Q&A thread pinned to the top ofthe forum; I'll merge this with it in a bit Re: your question, the current 'Death Star Final Duel' (75093) is one of my favourites, although if you're looking for a good range of Minifigures 'Mos Eisley Cantina' (75052) is definitely worth considering. Cheers, Robin
June 30, 20159 yr Just have a quick question for anyone who might be able to help me. I have the 2005 Lightsaber Duel Set, and my light-up figures are out of juice in their batteries. Is there any way to replace them without damaging the minifigure itself?

I disagree, the New shuttle Tydirium is a great set of a classic star wars vessel. It's a cool build with some good minifigs too
