I have a question: is there any official source that depicts a Pilot Battle Droid with an weapon? (Games do not count towards official.) Thanks in advance!

Despite not being essentially infantry units, some OOM pilot droids were deployed on battlefields and equipped with weaponry. These droids utilized RD-4 grenade launchers or carried SE-14C blaster pistols. Serving as mainly support units, they often brought with them extra ammunition canisters for fellow allies.

Most pilot droids were, however, used onboard capital ships and cruisers. Some of them were armed with commando pistol variants of the standard SE-14 blaster, which fires more rapidly and carries greater firepower. On rare occasions, they used TB-47 time bombs to sabotage enemy starships. Usually, though, the pilots were not armed and were completely vulnerable.

But those are all weapons used for game mechanics in BF2. Without a higher canon source contradicting it, the BF2 armaments would be considered canon, but as far as non-video game sources are concerned, I believe they are normally unarmed.
As non-infantry units, pilot droids did not have the same combat programming as other OOM units, and were thus far easier to destroy.

Well they only carried the grenade launchers as engineers, and the pilots only had the role of engineers as in SWBFI there was no B1 engineer. So technically all they ever carried was a SE-14 pistol and some time bombs.

So, the postman delivered a Tantive IV this morning (10198) and after the build a whole bunch of transparant diamonds were left over. Anyone else had the same?

According to peeron, there shouldn't even have been transparent diamonds in the set. I'd say you've got yourself a nice little present from The LEGO Group.

Thanks, seems they do not have weapons then. (Sorry for the late reaction)

Are 'Anikan' and 'Anikin' legitimate alternate spellings of 'Anakin', or are a lot of people just spelling it wrong? I'm asking because some differences in names exist between different versions of the films (for example, Threepio is Z-6PO in the French dub of Star Wars and Artoo is D2-R2).

I'm pretty sure they're just general misspellings, like Kashyyk and Curosant.

And 'Millenium' and 'C-P3O'. Though I don't think I've ever seen anyone write 'Curosant'. 'Corusant', missing the 'c', maybe.

Minifigs have been quite boring of late and LEGO have been putting them in the wrong place eg Darth Vader in the upcoming millenium falcon *huh* where is the reason well it is probalbly for money from figs :) Where is the point where should all these figs been? Could there be old republic era figs or not???

Well spurs, you really answered your own question but Old Republic Figs Could be around the corner.

P.s why is he taking a break????

For the french translation of Threepio, it's not mispelling, it's the official translation. 6-PO sound similar than Threepio, so the translators (french people translate movies and don't like subtitles... most of the time) choose to change the number for labial synchronisation coherence. Same goes for R-2 i suppose.

If I was to take a head off a Space Police III minifig Rench, get a random brown torso that looks Jedi-esque, a short brown leg, would the resulting minifig pass for a young version of Kit Fisto (or anyone of his race)?

What does a young *looks up Kit Fisto's race* Nautolan even look like? Is there an existing source that depicts one?

To answer your question, maybe it's just me, but I don't really see the resemblance. Something to do with the mouth...

I know there's a baby Nautolan in one of the CW episodes. All the tentacles (of which the proper name escapes me at the moment) are fused together in a short lump atop the head, I believe. KDM should know.

Doc's right, there was one infant Nautolan shown in the CW episode "Children of the Force" - Zinn Toa - with short 'fused' tendrils.

The Rench minifig does slightly resemble Kit Fisto because of the tendrils, black eyes and green color. In the end, you could always use it to your own liking as no one will prevent you from doing that.

Do hands even come in that shade of green? I don't recall any...

They come in a lot of sets, namely the new Alien Conquest sets.

Mouth aside, the alien head probably works. There's no canon description of adolescent Nautolant but it'd be reasonable to assume the hair-tail (or tentacles or w/e) separates and grow longer at young age. I'll find the correct colored hand for that minifig and lose the cloak, it's a bit too long for the short legs.

Two questions actually:

- next year we do expect SW to hit cinemas again. Will the new films come in chronological order and annually?

- Is the SW license to TLG being continued annually, too or have they taken it for a longer term?
