Tariq j Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Hi, I'm quite a new fan of the new star wars magnets do you think I should get lots of the new magnets or should I get the set with yoda and dooku? Quote
Mr Man Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Mmm, I have to agree that TCW Geonosians are a little exaggerated, If you put them next 2 Poggle, they look from a different species. All Geonosians look different to Poggle even the AOTC ones. Quote
Darth Dino Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Hi, I'm quite a new fan of the new star wars magnets do you think I should get lots of the new magnets or should I get the set with yoda and dooku? Hi get the Duel on Geonosis. It is a iconic scene where Yodas powers are reveald. Regarding thos set, it is the only source of a NON TCW Yoda and NON TCW Dooku. I like both characters but really dislike their TCW look. In this set both are amazing. Dino Quote

Although the magnets are wonderful for collectors, they really don't serve any purpose.I would get the set with the awsome figs and useful pieces first. Then consider some of the magnets later. Quote
Admiral-Ackbar Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but the Clone Trooper Sergeant from 75000 seems to be of very low quality for some reason. It's hardly been used yet the arms, torso and legs have all cracked! Does anyone know why? Quote
Cyberbricker Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I have several of these and the are all in excellent condition. But sometimes it happens that parts crack because of bad molding or something that went bad in the plastic mixture. It happened to me once and lego sent me a replacement, so just ask lego. Quote
Tariq j Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Hi I have two questions, firstly when are the TV series of the yoda chronicles coming out again I saw the first one but I never saw any others afterwards, I may have missed them but if not does anyone know when they are coming out? The next question isn't really Lego star wars and rather than one answer is more of a matter of opinion but is it datoonie or tatooine, it's a bit like Lego or legos and is the same thing but I was just curious to know. Not sure on the Yoda Chronicles. The series may already be complete. I am a bit cut off from the world right now. Dantooine and Tatooine are two different planets. Tatooine of course is where Luke Skywalker grew up, and Dantooine is where Princess Leia told Darth Vader the Rebel Base was too keep him from destroying Alderaan. Of course we all know how that turned out. Edited July 14, 2013 by ISDAvenger Quote

Hopefully the Lego website may give some release dates. Thanks Tariq j Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 I think a lot of people are confused about how the Yoda Chronicles is being released. I was talking to Oky about it recently because I have no idea what's going on. (And I don't have cable and if I did, I wouldn't pay attention to Cartoon Network, so I know next to nothing about the schedule.) Apparently there're supposed to be three mini movies plus three of the TV episodes, and there's been no announcement of when the next two episodes will be released. Then there're the web episodes which Oky says features the new sets and has nothing to do with the Yoda Chronicles storyline. Quote
Tariq j Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I've been thinking and I think the reason why they haven't said is because they want to spread the sets out through 2014 meaning TLG do not have to design and think of as many sets as they would usually do. Quote
Cyberbricker Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 All Geonosians look different to Poggle even the AOTC ones. Of course, but they are from 2003, you can see that the new geonosians are just to cartoony... Quote
Tariq j Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Hi, why does captain Rex have tally markings on his armour? Quote
Darth Nader Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Hi, why does captain Rex have tally markings on his armour? I believe they represent the number of battles he was in Quote
Tariq j Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I believe they represent the number of battles he was in Ah, thanks Darth Nader they actually look quite nice on him. Quote
Mr Man Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Hi, why does captain Rex have tally markings on his armour? Possibly they are kills (live enemies not droids) or maybe major battles. Quote
UnknownClone Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Possibly they are kills (live enemies not droids) or maybe major battles. Most likely kills as there's supposed to be 57 markings on the helmet and as far as the clone wars cartoons are concerned he was in 30 major battles some battles he would have had the markings on his modified phase 1 helmet already Quote
Only Sinner Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I don't see how they could be for non-droid kills. I don't recall ever seeing many non-droid combatants on the seps' side, save for the Umbarrans maybe. Did he kill 57 of them? I like to think the marks represent Rex's romantic conquests. He is a total ladies man, after all. Quote

Only Sinner Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Geonosians for one Ah, yes. But Rex didn't have all those marks in the first episode of TCW, did he? Quote
UnknownClone Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Ah, yes. But Rex didn't have all those marks in the first episode of TCW, did he? That's because his unmodified phase 1 helmet only had "jaig eyes" Quote
Tariq j Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I've counted and there are approximately 75marks correct me if I'm wrong. Quote
UnknownClone Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I've counted and there are approximately 75marks correct me if I'm wrong. No matter how many there are I've found out that the markings are his droid kills so he has killed 57-75 droids Quote
