But if you wait until may the fourth, when you can probably get it on sale, then I'd say wait. If I had lots of money at the moment I'd get it right now.
January 20, 201411 yr yeah! however it seems like there is usually not an all over sale on may the 4th at least here in denmark it is only a list of sets with 10% discount and one or two sets with 20-50% not sure what the chance of ewok village getting on sale for this.

That's usually the case in the US as well. Small discount, couple sets heavily discounted, free shipping, and a promo item. Usually the heavily discounted sets are not recently released ones, unless they're selling poorly. (I think the UCS Delta-7 was one of the more heavily discounted items a few months after its release.)
January 21, 201411 yr where did this elusive red vader helmet come from? was it some kind of prototype?

So, I'm assuming that you posted a pointless, off-topic, short comment, like the ones you've already been told not to post, and then when called out you replaced it with something just as off-topic. You've been warned about this before, so let me remind you: EB is a site for AFOLs, and we expect a mature level of discussion. We don't expect perfection, but we don't tolerate laziness. Short, pointless, spam-esque posts have no place on EB, and discussion of minifigs you want belongs in Most Wanted Star Wars characters.

I'm wondering if I should order the old (but new and sealed) Slave I 8097 in the $120-150 range or if I'm better off waiting and hoping for a new release. I've heard the UCS Slave I rumors, and that would be an instant purchase for me, but I'm not sure if I want to keep waiting for something that I'm not certain will come. The way I see it, a wave with a healthy amount of OT like Summer 2014 will be followed by a wave that favours PT/EU. As Episode VII gets closer to release, I imagine that the year before will be full of its sets while OT/PT stuff is put aside. Also, if they have plans to put out a new version of Jango's Slave I, I don't think they would release Boba's any time too close. So what do you think? Will we get to see another minifig scale Slave I or should I go ahead and buy what I missed out on? I have also considered getting the 2010 version for about $100. I think I might hold off for a newer one, though as I don't think the pieces are worth it for that high a price, and the colors are a little off. If you can get a used one for a reasonable price, I would definately do that. Tha SW liscence will be with us for a looong time still, so no doubt we will eventually get a new and much improved Slave-1. I recommend this to you as well, and NOT because it might be cheaper. Just look at the colors! The S1 is a worn out ship made of metal. The paint has never be so intense as it is with the 8097. Basically both are the same ship with almost similar build, except the area where the paddle goes into the ship. I personally dont like that big round parts much. But i like the sandgreen, its the idea color for a S1. Just have a look at Anio's UCS S1... Regading the figs: I keep the old (but new) one and bought an actual Bobba from the Desert Skiff. I got a Han in Carbonite thos way as well. A MISB 6209, Boba and Han cost me total about 80€ includig shipment. A 8097 cost here about 100€ MISB, but is still have the intense green and red which dont fit to the S1 (my opinion). Dino

January 23, 201411 yr There is a 18% discount on the LEGO Gold Leader's Y-wing - 9495 making it 49,99 euro. I have had my eye on this set for a while now and i'm trying to decide if I should buy it or not. What would you guys do ? (I am a rebel set fan)
January 23, 201411 yr Hello guys I have to make up my mind.I think that I will buy 75037,Jedi Intercepor, but i´m not sure at all.I love that set because of it´s perfectly accurate to the real ship, but it´s a little over priced. Also,I cannot decide between this and the General Grievous Wheel Bike. What would you do If you were I?

January 24, 201411 yr What is the big deal with specific "phase 2" clone troopers, such as Fox or Wolf? Were they released before as a phase 1, why are they special?
