Admiral-Ackbar Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Just a quick question: which is better between The Battle of Salucemi and the Wheel Bike? I really want General Grievous but I also want the BARC Trooper and the Speeder. So...it's become a dilemma for me. Quote
Gremer Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Just a quick question: which is better between The Battle of Salucemi and the Wheel Bike? I really want General Grievous but I also want the BARC Trooper and the Speeder. So...it's become a dilemma for me. The BARC Speeder doesn't look as good as it could due to the missile, but Neyo (BARC Trooper) makes up for it IMO. Grievous and Obi-Wan are both good figures, and the Wheel Bike is okay. I would go with the Bike personally, due to the fact that both of it's figures are really good. Quote

OK, I think I'll go for the Salucemi set just now and grab the Grievous set when I'm next in Argos since I have a gift card for there anyway. Edited January 25, 2014 by Admiral-Ackbar Quote
Gremer Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Should I get the Ewok Village now, or should I save my money for the ISD this summer? Quote
Obi-wan Kenobi Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Should I get the Ewok Village now, or should I save my money for the ISD this summer? If I were you,I will ask for a great amount of patience and wait to see how good is the ISD,because the Ewok Village will be either, and you could pick out the set you love the better. If you spend your money now, maybe in summer you would say ''Oh shit,I wish I didn´t do that''. Quote

legos486 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Should I get the Ewok Village now, or should I save my money for the ISD this summer? The Ewok village is a pretty beautiful set that completes endor with many good figures and is definitely worth it while the ISD is a better version of then the last with less figs can be used for more things such as MOCS or recreating scenes with other ship hope this helped. legos486 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Hey guys I'm thinking of buying a figure but I'm torn between general grievous(75040) and the blue clone lieutenant which one should I buy and which is worth more. Quote
Ritz Brick Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 You all are aware there is a whole topic dedicated to "Which set should I buy?" I would look into that first. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 You all are aware there is a whole topic dedicated to "Which set should I buy?" I would look into that first. In the past, we've actually allowed members to use this topic to ask that question if they want an answer specifically from fellow SW fans. Quote

I would get the clone lieutenant, he is a limited edition and as for Grievous, he will devalue slightly as the set he's in becomes more widely available (like here in the US for instance). Quote
Ki-Adi-Mundi Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Probably it's a strange question but what is this Yoda chronicles stuff all about? Is it part of TCW? Here in Germany we don't get any ads or movies/short films or whatever about it. Quote

Archer Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I think I saw in this topic that the Star destroyer now comes with numbered bags, Does anybody have a break down of where lego breaks up the set? It'd be nice to not have to rebuild with all bajillion pieces at once Quote

It'd be nice to not have to rebuild with all bajillion pieces at once Well, no one can tell you this by now. However, there are many different approaches how to start a build. Some sort out the parts by colour, some by type. You can also download the building instructions of released sets from TLG's website. Then you can examine the recommended distribution of parts among bags. Quote
Archer Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Haha, I wrote Star Destroyer, I meant Death Star, the 2008 model. Quote
Flyersfan1594 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Does anyone own/have opinions on the new Microfighters sets? I am most interested in the X-wing set, mainly for the new Rebel Pilot design, but I've been wondering what the opinion on them is, and since the US can't have them yet I can only ask. Quote

Sir Brickalot Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) For May 4th, what do you guys recommend I get that would push me over £50? Any SW set will suffice, though I'd prefer 2014 sets. Thanks! EDIT: Oh, also, no CW, but I'm fine with PT. Edited January 28, 2014 by Sir Brickalot Quote
