Yeah I mean I got one and I was 10! I don't think it did....

I thought I had read that somewhere. My mistake.

Heh, it was horrible, however it's pretty amusing to see the outrageous prices it goes for on BL.

I know. Of the 80 or so LSW sets I still need to collect, the Ultimate Duel is dead last. After the Pod Racer Bucket.

Guess what  I got an email from TLC saying they will replace my Commander Cody helmet with no proof of purchas...my next thing, doesnt anyone need a misprinted Cody helmet?

Didn't the Catamaran have stability issues?

Not initially, but after a couple months, mine developed a crack in one of the 5L Technic beams that reinforce the frame-engine connection. Barrel rolls were scary, too, the pods were only held on by a couple Technic pins.

I'll take it!

Is there is a chance of a third "wave". I'm fed up with waiting twice a year for the SW sets  . Maybe if TLG hires more people on the design team...

It's not very likely. I'm not sure I'd like a third wave anyways as we'd have more repeats of sets.

We already get the 'random-time-exclusives', like the September UCS Shuttle, November UCS Delta-7, and the March Swamp Speeder.

Please no. My wallet barely fits two waves a year, nevermind three.

I was wondering, I was at the LEGO store in Calagry the other day, and one of the guys there said that the AT-OT and Drpoship was extremly flimsi. Is this true?

I don't have it personally, but supposedly the two ships themselves are very sturdy, only the connection between them is kind of hard to hook up right.

I couldn't agree more, especially with the SW Lego prices going through the roof. I mean $90 for the new slave 1 is a bit crazy, yet I still want it.

?

I see a price of $80 in the US S@H site. :sceptic:

Double VIP points throughout October, too, which is the equivalent of 10% off.

Aye, I have that set and both the walker and the dropship are nice and sturdy. The connection between them is done with a simple Technic axle, so it looks fragile and we have a lot of turbulence while swooshing it around, but it's fine. I still have to test it with the AT-TE and the CTT. It does weight a lot tho, I don't know how kids can swoosh it around :look:

Hello again..I need to make a really important decision

As you might all know, the tower bridge released..

Now the decision i need to make is either get the magnificent imperial shuttle or the equally amazing tower bridge which is cheaper and has twice as more pieces...

HELP

I would get the most expensive set first, if I had the money for it, as it would then be easier to get the cheaper set. Both sets were just released so they will be around for at least one or two more years, so no rush.

Thanks for you advice but....I don't have the money to buy both when there are the 2011 starwars sets to buy..

If I were in your position, I would get the UCS Imperial Shuttle, no questions asked. I'm biased since I'm mostly into LSW. It would all depend on your 'priorities' when it comes to lego. From the look of your avatar you seem to be a SW guy, so there shouldn't be any struggle deciding. Come on, buy the Imperial Shuttle... NOW...

I totally agree with KielDaMan, get the Shuttle! Of course, I haven't built the Tower Bridge, but the Shuttle is really something extra!

And you're asking in the starwars forum?

Need I say more?!

The people who work in the Lego Store in Calgary are idiots :sadnew: To me the dropship seems very sturdy with technic beams and such, but I know on the AT-OT some of the guns on the front and the sides can fall of easily.
