I doubt anyone was ever disputing that both are stormtroopers... many thought that the difference meant they were another evolutionary step from Phase II clones to OT stormies, tho, which they are not meant to be. It's the only stylistic element from Rebels translated into Lego form, really, and stands out as such which makes them odd. Not odd enough that I won't get them, and at least use the bodies in the front of any arrangement or MOC featuring stormies, but odd as a design choice for Lego since it's pretty much the only thing that stands out as "different" between Rebels and OT figures.

Minifigs are constantly evolving which I find good. There were arguments that were made between PT and TCW Clones. Now there's arguments between OT and Rebels Stormtroopers. Personally I have amassed separate PT and TCW Clone armies. The newer versions in each line shared the same molds for the helmets but the PT and TCW variations had different printing. For now I won't have any problem between OT and Rebels because I have no interest at all in Rebels and unless something drastically changes, I have no desire to amass a Rebels Stormtrooper army. For me, I'm fine with the fact that my minifigs will not be completely identical and have variations.

Being a huge CIS/GAR-fan, I've wanted the Venator-Class Attack Cruiser (8039) a long time.

Now I've found one for sale for 70 Euro. Everything included. Should I go for it? I'm also looking for opinions on people who owns it, and possibly how it compares to the newly released ISD from this summer. Thanks!

Personal I don't like it, to me it looks really misshapen, however it may be possible to mod it a bit, correct some of those proportions a bit.

Agree with Mr Man. I am a HUGE fan of Venator, but that thing, proportion-wise, is an abomination. However, for 70 euros it's a steal, and if it's MISB, you should definitely go for it, it has plenty of very useful parts.

And I would spot that "mouth" from a mile's distance.

Rebels has a deeper frown and brighter blue markins on the sides of the helmet.

To be honest, it's the brighter blue markings which bother me more than the frown. Can't explain why. Just looks really out of place.

I did a review on the chrome trooper which can be found on my about me page, in this review I compare the polybag version to the magnet version, and they both have bare spots. All chromed figs do.

it is very useful, thanks

Not too sure if this the right place to discuss this here. But I have been thinking recently of how versatile the T-47 Snowspeeder is, in terms of using Lego's version sometime after the Battle of Hoth.

It's very versatile; they're just airspeeders. Remember, Han couldn't take one out to look for Luke because they weren't yet adapted to the cold (luckily at least one was ready by the next morning!). If any were evacuated from Echo Base, or new ones acquired later, or even the Hoth ones before being adapted on Hoth, they could easily be used elsewhere. They're only "snowspeeders" because they were used, once, in a snowy environment, like some folks call Luke's old ride a "sandspeeder".

Thanks for clearing that up. Wasn't too sure, especially seeing them once in TESB and not in the books of EU/Legends after the movie.

Luke had a discussion with the 2-1B as he was suiting up in the medbay, and there was reference to not being able to load the "T-47s"... which is the designation of the speeders, so presumably they had more than what was sent against the Imps--or just that they were gonna abandon them as the pilots transferred to spaceworthy craft like we saw with Luke & his X-wing after the battle. So those specific speeders were probably mostly abandoned on Hoth (and likely collected by Imperial or Imperial-hired salvage teams in the aftermath)... various airspeeders were seen in EU/Legends, this is only one type, modified for combat, probably often used by planetary security forces. In any case, in the EU the focus tended to be more on space battles rather than planetary action, and since Rebel/Republic starfighters are usually good for either writers probably didn't feel the need to have them switch to speeders... and if any speeders were commandeered by combatants on the ground, they were often civilian or local security types suitable for multiple passengers.

When do you expect 75042 droid gunship and 75043 at-tp to go on clearance?

In the US? About 5 minutes before they've sold out permanently from past experience with LSW on sale in the US.

Resellers camp on S@H and snatch up everything that goes on clearance pretty quickly. I don't think I've ever actually seen an item still for sale at clearance price past about midnight on the west coast.

Could just be the currency exchange.

But I know with Canadian prices and US prices, it isn't the just the exchange, the thing is just naturally less expensive.

But for my actual question. Is the Ten Numb figure in the B-Wing supposed to be the little guy with Lando on the Falcon? or is that a different person?

Nien numb is Lando's copilot. His sister Ten Numb is a B Wing Pilot.

they are not related. ten numb is a male. It is Nien Nunb, not numb.

Yep. In the EU, Nien had a sister named Aril Nunb who joined Rogue Squadron for a time after Endor--and survived the experience!--but that's all Legends now.

For those of you who have 75058 but not 7662, how does 75058 fare on it's own?

I love mine

The figs are great and I needed a EP1 Obi wan and Qui Gon

I find the vehicule very accurate to the movie version. The only down side is the low droid capacity witch is easy to mod to 12 or 16.
