Easy for some, less easy for others?

If you have the set, give it a go. If you don't, open the file on LDD and try changing it on that.

It looks pretty simple to be honest, just empty it of all the random stuff, and just fill it with chairs.

How easy would it be to MOD 7659 to allow more minifigures?

It's very easy. I've done it to mine before, along with a bunch of other mods.

Just pull out the cannons and load it up with chairs. It works well if you also lengthen the troop bay.

Oh I have another question..I really would like to get a lego ESB poster in May...but Im not sure I wanna buy any sets right now...is the Yularen figure available for individual purchase in LEGO stores? I know nothing about exclusive figures/sets

I'm afraid not, latest minifig promotions were not sold separately.

I think you need to spend $75 to get the Yualren polybag.

Hi,

I would like to know which Star Wars UCS Sets a Minifig Scale. I have the Red Five X-Wing and would like to get more sets, but they should be "compatible".

Thanks!

The Red Five X Wing is not minifig scale. It's nearly double minifig scale. The new UCS TIE fighter should be in a similar scale, along with the old UCS Ties.

hey guys i am trying to build a death star hangar and finding inspirations online,

found this awesome MOC by ACPin and i was wondering if anyone know

what is the part he is using for the wall circled in the picture. It looks smaller than a 1x2 white tile. Thanks for any help!

If you like to see more search for ACpin mocs titled tie fighter hangar

I think I know what you mean, it is a 1x2 plate place sideways. He uses a SNOT technique to achieve this effect.

i am not sure whether people can see my picture, put to describe it , it is the death star "black with white lines" wall (as you can see on the second and third floor.

BTW @TWP thanks for the technique advice, im gonna use that. But are you sure it is your average 1x2 because it looks smaller than 1x2 tile when compared to a minifgure head

Nope, can't see any pictures in your post, but I think we know what you're talking about. Those are indeed 1x2 plates used in SNOT walls. Just to confirm, I think this is a close-up picture of the walls your referring to in that MOC: http://pinlac.com/images/TwinTIEHangarBays-a11-015.jpg

You can see there if you look closely that some of them are actually 2 1x1 plates which makes it easier to verify their dimensions. As for comparing the size to the minifigs in the shot, I see what you mean, but it simply appears to be a matter of the angle the picture was taken from. ACPin is on EB, so if you really need confirmation I'm sure you could message him.

Hi iannn29, and welcome to Eurobricks!

As other members have said, the walls appear to be built from 1x2 & 1x1 plates (part no's 3024 & 3023) that are built sideways, so you're looking at the edges of them.

For future reference, there's a general Q & A thread pinned to the top of the forum. I'll merge your thread with it in a bit :classic:

Cheers, Robin

Here's a better pic of how they were done.

This may not be directly related to Star Wars but does anyone know if there is a way to detach the minifigure from the chain in keychains? Yes, I know, "Minifigure is not detachable from metal chain", but is it possible to cut the chain or pull it out somehow without the rest of the metal that is still attached to the minifigure's head being incredibly visible?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question but I don't know where else to post it.

It's quite easy to remove the keychain. I simply pull the pin with a multi tool and it slides out once you give it enough pressure or you can also rest a soldering iron on the pin for a short while which will loosen the plastic enough to Pull it out without as much strength... If you try this way just make sure you don't melt the plastic too much.

Alright, thanks! :classic:

Next time I go to the LEGO Store, I'll probably pick up a Star Wars keychain and test it out.

I actually did it last on the new Chewbacca keychain... it came out fine. I'm glad they're now putting him in an OT set though.
