sepo Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Hello, My son wants to rebuilt this set and has lost the instructions. (and the box). It looks like 7681 separatist spider droid but it's not exactly the same. Can someone help in finding the reference so I can search the instructions ? (Or even better if someone has the instructions in PDF) Thank a lot ! Picture shows a portion of it, legs have (strangely) fallen apart Regards Phillip Hello, My son wants to rebuilt this set and has lost the instructions. (and the box). Backgild Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 We likely won't get a detail like this in the movie, but I'm curious if anyone has a thought on the 'correct' troop type to be piloting the First Order Transporter? In ROTJ, the Lambda-class shuttle seems to be piloted by Imperial Officers or Technicians (I apologize if I have confused Imperial uniforms), so what troops do you have piloting your FO troop transports? Officers, FO crew, tie pilots? Quote
tom20arc Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Hey everyone, I'm stuck on deciding which set to buy. These are the sets I'm interested in: -MTT (75058) On lego US shop it says its retiring soon -Millenium Falcon (75105) Really like this set but I read that some TFA sets had cracks in pieces/figures, is this true? -Imperial Shuttle Tydirium (75094) Yet another cool set I'm interested in ;p -Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle (75104) -ISD (75055) Retired in lego shop but can still get it where I live for the same price. Or... maybe, really maybe Ewok village or Slave 1? (or wait for hoth echo base 75098?) I also have 40 euro vip points. So as you can see a really difficult choice haha :P Which one would you get? I dont know the ranks in FO troops but officers and crew make a lot more sense than pilots because they use life support gear (closed masks with hoses) since the TIEs are known to have no life support in their cockpits since the civil war. Slave I is a must have in my book, absolutely my favorite UCS (I admit I am biased on all things Fett) but if you are really not wanting to spend that much I agree with Nom, Tydirium is a great set, and a better value than any of the TFA sets. La Chupacabra Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) Buy UCS Slave I or UCS Imperial Shuttle 10212. Edited November 17, 2015 by La Chupacabra Quote
Fuppylodders Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) UCS Slave 1 or 75094 and mod it to have the same wings as 10212, someone done it on here and it properly finishes the look off, and makes a good substitute for 10212 Edited November 17, 2015 by Fuppylodders Quote

Cyanide-Tipped Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) I'm with GallardoLU and getting a Slave 1...again we are biased but love it! And Tydirium is a definitely a good choice too. I also have the MF #75094. :) @Fuppylodders do you have the link to the modded MF #75094 on these forums? Edited November 20, 2015 by Cyanide-Tipped Quote

My other spare from the TIE set is currently being drawn and quartered by Resistance Troopers (What?!?). Quote

JPN366 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Wow... Amazon US has restricted the purchase of LEGO sets to Prime members only currently. Quote
Galactic13 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Upon inspection, you have to sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime to place a Lego order. The discount is pretty decent. Anyone know how to cancel the free trial if you don't want it? I was planning to make a Lego order on Amazon this week and if I can get the discount on the set and cancel the trial after my order comes in that would be pretty cool. Anyone know how that stuff works? Quote

Sam892 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I'm looking at getting the UCS Slave 1 this weekend, and was wondering what everyones general opinion is on it? Is it worth the hefty price tag? Quote

Cyanide-Tipped Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I have it and love it. Do it Sam! Besides my UCS X-Wing it's my favorite. The Boba Fett with it is also quite nice. Quote
Lobot Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I'm looking at getting the UCS Slave 1 this weekend, and was wondering what everyones general opinion is on it? Is it worth the hefty price tag? I highly recommend it, please refer to my post below! No set is perfect, but it's definitely one of my favourite UCS sets. I only displayed mine for a week (before my usual fear of dust and light damage persuaded me to return it to the safety of its original box!) but my initial impressions were that it was a solid design. I really enjoyed building it, although perhaps the underside greebling is a little 'sparse' compared to the original model. Personally, I would have preferred a slightly higher price-point to remedy this, if the production cost was an issue. However, the box art is without question the best of any set I've owned, it's just beautiful  Quote
La Chupacabra Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I have bought UCS Slave I recently and in my opinion this is second best UCS set (10212 is number one for me). Quote
YellowCorvette Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I'm looking for a TFA set as a Christmas present in the next month. Which one is the best consider the price tag. parts count and playability? Quote
