JPN366 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I finished building the Death Star 10188. I had a mild panic attack when I realized that I had not attached the top part of the lift/elevator that you crank that goes up and down from the TIE Fighter bay. You know the part that goes on top of the wall... http://bricks.argz.com/bricksfiles/lego/10000/10188/084.jpg I managed to pry enough bricks apart to attach and put everything back together. Can anyone explain to me why when you put together Darth Vader, it has a black bar next to him in the instructions that you don't use for anything? Quote
ISDAvenger Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Hey Guys, first post and i'm from austria, so please excuse my bad english.... after 25 years i am back into collecting LEGO, getting the older sets can get very expensive, thats why i'm only looking for good deals. so here's the question: i'm looking forward to buy Tantive IV 10198, sealed of course, how high is the chance to get the wrong mould(smooth hair) of princess leia(175a)? did they get all exchanged or are there still a few on the market? can you see it on the serial number? thx guys I was able to buy a smooth hair Leia loose for $40.00. They are out there. Quote
SeucheCave Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I was able to buy a smooth hair Leia loose for $40.00. They are out there. For 40$? Cant find one i a good shape under 100€. Quote
Richpepperell Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 If anyone's interested, they have the spider droid micro fighter for £4 in sainsburys in the uk - some nice parts plus the geonosis battle droid. Quote
admiralackbar74 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Hello all A newbie here, hoping you can help. My 7 year old son and I both collect Lego. Mine gets built and goes on the shelf or stays in the boxes. His Lego gets played with, so win-win for me. I need to find replacement hair for the silver fox Han Solo that comes with the latest Millennium Falcon. Hoping to avoid having to buy a new Falcon set if possible and the only one I can see on ebay is a bit more than I'd like to pay and is from the United States and would like to get it sooner if possible. It looks like Owen Lars hair in the Sandcrawler set (75059) (and also General Airen Cracken in B-Wing set 75050) come from the same mould. Can anyone confirm this? However it looks like they might be a darker grey from looking at the pictures. Does anyone know if any other figure has the same hair (both shape and colour) as the new Han Solo? Thanks in advance. Mr Greeble Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Well, you could buy a new set, but there is also a site called bricklink that sells practically every piece you could ever want. They have the hair. https://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=86&itemID=79374 Welcome to Eurobricks! Quote

ChubbyMcPorkin Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Hey guys, just a simple question but I'm just wondering which of the new £20 sets is the best to get if you can only get one? Quote
comix Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Hey, guys. I'm sorry if this has already been stated somewhere(I looked, but I couldn't find anything on here), but is the AT-AT retired? It was everywhere before Christmas but it's suddenly sold out every single place I've looked. And if it's not sold out, it's been jacked up by a third party seller. Quote
MartinCliffe Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Hey guys, just a simple question but I'm just wondering which of the new £20 sets is the best to get if you can only get one? Depends on your tastes. I have all of them - if you've not got much Hoth stuff, the Hoth one is good (but unnecessary if you've already got a big Hoth scene). Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor is good but has a few flaws and a lot of stickers. If you like Rebels, Kanan's Speeder Bike is a very satisfying build (even though he can't hold the handle-bars) and comes with some great pieces. The only one I was disappointed with was the Carbon Freezing Chamber, but it was worth getting for the figures (I didn't have a Boba Fett, that version of Han Solo or of course an Ugnaut). In the UK, you're in a good situation in that they're all worth £20. Both the US and Europe seem to be much more expensive for all the sets, which makes the value seem much worse. Quote
TheBear Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I think this hair piece has a fault as it falls off much more easily than normal. I have noticed the problem with the same hair piece in a different colour on another figure. Quote
Penmanz Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Hi, I have recently been going through and sorting out all of my old Star Wars lego, when I came across a character who looked similar to Lando Calrissian. However, I can not find this exact character anywhere on the internet. Does anyone know anyone about this character or where he is from? Thanks, Quote

RetroInferno Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 any clue when we are getting the x-wing microfighter in the us, my tru didnt even know the thing existed That would be in March for North America: No news from any of them ( except TFA sets) in Canada either. Quote
Lobot Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Hi admiralackbar74, and welcome to Eurobricks! Bricklink should be ideal for this sort of thing; according to the inventory for the part (62810) it appears in 10 different sets as LBG (Light Bluish Grey) including both the UCS Sandcrawler and B-Wing. For future reference there's a general Q&A thread pinned to the top of the forum. I'll merge this with it in a bit Quote
Lobot Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Hi Penmanz, and welcome to Eurobricks! Yes, as mentioned above it appears to be a 'hybrid' of different minifigures and it certainly isn't an official character! There's a full inventory of SW minifigures on Bricklink that you may find helpful (link). For future reference there's a general Q&A thread pinned to the top of the forum. I'll merge this with it in a bit Quote
Seaber Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Good thing about the X-Wing, apart from the fact it sounds like a good set in its own right, is that we know Encounter on Jakku will have some more Niima Outpost region stuff, rather than the Lor San Tekka encounter. The 'object' Poe is behind probably has a similar amount of bricks as the ladder and small transport in the Black One set. Quote
_epicster_ Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Just looks like you made a Lando with old parts and an NBA player's head. Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Yeah it's a mix of old parts. I kind of miss that old NBA line, lots of real people represented; and as seen here it makes a quick Lando. Quote
admiralackbar74 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Thanks for all your help. Much appreciated. Quote
rollermonkey Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Now that TFA has been released in all territories, and has been out for nearly a month in most, do we still have to use spoiler tags? Quote
benjiv1 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Hey guys! Wondering if I could get some advice as to what I should pick up with a gift card... Poe's X-Wing or Battle of Takodana? The X-Wing appears to be sold out everywhere, so I have no idea when that will even get back in stock at TRU, but I feel like people may jump on the Takodana set with it having the cheaper option to get Kylo. Thoughts? Quote
