Hello,

I have a quick question for those of you who own the 10212 Imperial Shuttle (original, not bricklinked). I purchased a used one from Ebay that came with box, instructions (just about everything). However there are color differences between the white (and some grey) bricks. The bricks are not really yellowed. It is just that one tint is pure white and another tint is creamy white. Is this normal for this set? From the videos and pictures I found online its not apparent whether other 10212s have this issue. I am thinking about returning/reselling this one and getting a new one. However, if this is a know issue then getting a new one wont' solve it. I added some photos to flickr. Please see the link below. Thanks!

Nope, I don't think they released their may calendar as of yet, but consider looking at the lego online store, they have some decent promotions for canada.

Everything I want to buy is not on sale (Obi-Wan jedi starfighter, Galactic empire BP) and the promo figure sucks.

At least there is double VIP but that only translates to 10% off.

I hesitate to pull the trigger fearing that those set will be on sale at TRU in couple of days.

Hi. Mine was an original set and has the same differences in colour on the white bricks. I don't think I let it become yellowed at all (when on the shelf it was totally out of direct sunlight) and I'm pretty sure the differences in colour were there when I got it out of the box too.

Hi drawen22, and welcome to Eurobricks!

There are sometimes subtle differences in the colours; the parts of my 10212 are all one 'shade' but they're definately closer to cream-white than pure white. I bought mine new and it was like that from the start. My last UCS Falcon was a mixture of greys, and again was bought new so, personally, I wouldn't be worried about it. For future reference there's a general Q&A thread pinned to the top of the forum. I'll merge this with it in a bit :classic:

So I'm going to treat myself to a big set during the May 4th sale since its my birthday next week.

The Sandcrawler is a little bit rich for me so it's between Ewok Village and Slave I. I guess Ewok Village will be retired soon so is the right pick?

Also I've noticed the free polybag is going for £15-20 on eBay. Do we expect that price to hold? If so it's a nice extra discount off the big set :)

At that price point I think mostly only hardcore collectors will be interested. The price will probably drop.

Personally I wouldn't pay more than 5 EURO for it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction when it comes to BrickLink stores that have a large collection of pieces to choose from? I want to BrickLink the "Escape the Space Slug set" but it's been ages since I use BrickLink.. Thanks in advance

I usually use Brick Frames, they have the best prices i have found so far and usually a pretty good selection.

Is that an American store?

Are the Assault on Hoth instructions anywhere yet?

Someone just posted a link on the 2016 rumors thread thats usually just above (or below) this one.

I bought 10188 for a pretty decent price (€500) and was having a question: I know there as a first and a second production run. Main difference are some of the minifigs (especially the heads).

What are the other differences? Did the first version have numbered bags? And are the instruction books for both versions the same?

Guys what would you say a fair price for the ucs assault on hoth would be?

The current price is "fair"... if you haven't been collecting Lego Star Wars for the past six years and acquired all the contents of AoH through other sets during that time. If you're new to Lego Star Wars, the current price is acceptable, but if you have all that material through other means, then there's really no point to the set and it would probably appear lazy and unwanted.

Just built the New Hoth Attack set, and I've noticed my Snowtrooper has a mis print on the helmet piece : (

The thin line that goes around the 'eyes' and across the bridge of the nose is off centre by a couple of mm. I've never had this before...do I email Lego, or 'phone them?

Phone them. You need the instructions manual because they might ask you for a number printed somewhere on the last page. I once bought the CTT on the aftermarket, and the Aayla Secura torso had a tiny misprint. I phoned them and they sent me a perfect one, no problem.
