Not sure if this the right topic to ask this question but it is on topic, LEGO and Star Wars. I need some buying advice. A local shop here quoted me around 80 usd for 4 minifigs from 75098 Assault on Hoth. The minifigs are: R3-A2, K-3PO, Wedge and Wes. Is this too much?

Not interested to pick up 75098 as a set... Since I have very little interest on Hoth diorama.

Wedge and Wes are basically identical, only their helmets are worth getting IMO. Go for it if you're into hardcore mini figs collection otherwise nope.

Ugh, that's a shame. I guess I'll hold out hope that maybe one day it could happen, cause I'd assume Shadows of the Empire could still be canon since it's wedged between Empire and Return. It was probably the old N64 game, but Dash has always been my favorite SW character lol

The YA novel "Moving Target" gave a nod to Shadows of the Empire, but also made it impossible for the story to ever be canon. Luke & Leia, as high-value targets in the Alliance, were generally kept apart for the year between ESB & ROTJ. They encountered each other a couple times, one being where Luke escorted Leia to the meeting where top Alliance officials learned the Emperor was building a new Death Star (Luke wasn't invited to the meeting, he just escorted Leia there; the nod to SOTE comes from when he tells Leia he was recently on Kothlis). Leia's activities following the meeting preclude the possibility of SOTE's events happening as well.

However, Dash Rendar's ship model is still considered canon, as we do see a YT-2400 in Mos Eisley in the ANH Special Edition. It's not defined as the Outrider, tho, nor is Dash himself currently canon. It could eventually be established as his ship, with a rebooted Dash inserted into new stories down the line. If that ever happens, notably in film or TV series (as Lego has yet to tackle characters/ships from the comics or books), then Lego might make him & his ship.

Right now, nobody has a clue what exactly the DS will look like or how much it will cost, so I can't decide on that yet. I want to get a big set soon since I've been holding off for quite a while now.

Well, I would say if you want a nice display piece, get the Slave I.

Star wars lego is expensive, nothing new there.

In the US sets are usually a bit cheaper then in Europe, mainly the exchange rate between the 2 currencies or sometimes up to 5$ in difference, but now ...things apparantly have changed alot!

Can somebody please try to explain to me why for example 75145 is 26 euro in the US and 45 euro in europe???? That's almost DOUBLE the price...last time i checked Lego was European company????

This is EU ripp off ! I'm used to this from US companies, not the other way around...

Eu gets tons more exclusives.

Also EU costs more because one pound the dollar of the EU is worth more then a us dollor. But I don't see why that doubles the price. I would see it behind around 10 or more bucks

I'm hoping thsi fits here, but what do people think Lego will do for the Han Solo minifig that will surely come in a couple years for the spin off movie? Will they create a minifig that looks as different as Alden Ehrenreich and Harrison Ford, or will they just shake it off and give us a regular Han minifigure?

It will be intresting to see what they do.

I'm certain there will be an entirely new costume for him (yet with a familiar style). So it will probably be new from the neck down at least. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same Ken doll hair though.

Does anyone know if you set a photo on Flickr to private, will it mess the pictures up anywhere else? I do a lot of profile shots for Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka but they sort've clog my photo stream up and mess up the stream of builds. My hope is if I set certain pictures to private they just disappear from my public photo stream but don't get messed up here on Eurobricks.

I am not sure but I thought the privacy setting only meant people can't stumble onto your pictures. If you share a link to that picture, however, only those people with knowledge of the link can access the picture. At least that is how I understand flickr. Changing a public picture to private should not change the link right? If so you should be all good. The picture goes off to the general public looking at your picture feed but stays available to anyone who knows the link. Test it on one picture and see if it works.

I dunno, I've never heard him speak (or seen him act at all for that matter). It's all about the voice, what they look like is secondary. Plus it can't have helped that Dylan O'Brien (one of the favourites) got badly injured filming Death Cure.

They'll probably use the same head, but adjust hair & outfit accordingly (he hopefully won't be wearing the exact same outfit as ANH)

He should change outfits occasionally, at least. One problem with the comics so far is that Han basically wears the exact same ANH outfit (as does Luke, tho his is the Yavin Ceremony outfit) all the time... change a shirt once in awhile, or swap the vest for a jacket! Tho in the upcoming "Han Solo #1" he does just that, wearing a brown jacket similar to his ESB/TFA jackets (but not the same as either). There should be more of that. These guys aren't characters in a CG cartoon where changing their outfits is a big deal and usually only reserved for Imperial disguises (Kanan in a stormtrooper suit; Rex in a stormtrooper suit; Ezra in a cadet uniform). Having him in something different in the upcoming movie would set him apart from his time in ANH (especially if it's years earlier)... give him a maroon shirt, a blue jacket, whatever. Mix it up some. Not everyone should be restricted to one outfit like Vader (where his only major decision each morning is "surcoat under the armor, or over it?")

He never had a wife before Leia. He and Sana Starros staged a fake wedding as part of a robbery they were pulling off, that's it.

Since the new Resistance X-wing set (blue/gray) is coming out soon, have people noticed if Poe's X-wing (black/orange) is becoming harder to find? I was at a local TRU and Walmart and noticed that the black/orange one was not on the shelves.

So I'm new and this is my first post, so hopefully it's a good question.

Is it unusual that the Lego shop webpage hasn't updated yet to show the new June sets yet, not even as a coming on such and such date. (even though some stores are already selling them)

The stores shouldnt be selling them but they dont care. They will show up on shop@home in june
