We usually get all the Information soon before or At Toy Fair I think. The N-1 and Echo Base could be Exclusives like Cad Bane's Speeder was last year which would explain why we haven't gotten any information. As for Where Brickset gets their Info I don't Know but it Is Always Reliable. Quote

Toy Fair usually just adds onto that with pics and other goodies, although this year we might be getting first looks of the N-1 and Echo Base there, as commanderneyo said. Quote
Stegoceras Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 (edited) Thanks Brickdoctor, Walter Kovacs and Praiter Yed for your ideas and suggestions. The LDD manager seems to make a nice list which is a definite plus, still have to look into what options there are to get it to bricklink (which seems to be possible, just haven't paid a lot of attention to it) but so far I'm happy with the list you get with the program, safes me a lot of work not having to do that manually. When I meant "Info" I meant complete info like the completed versions of the sets not the Preliminary. And of course news on the N-1 and Echo Base. As an afterthought with all the CW sets coming soon I decided I want a big OT set to make that is bigger than most CW Sets I was seriously considering getting this one as it has great Figures a Hutt and Slave Leia http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/6210_Jabba%27s_Sail_Barge Edited January 15, 2011 by commanderneyo Quote

Well, it is a Star Wars set, and in any case I think what he's asking is, "should I buy this or not?" If you want my opinion, 6210 looks rather fat and stubby in comparison to what you see in the film ( ), but it's got great playability and a lot of minifigures ( )which I guess makes the set for many people. Of course, if you want lots of minifigures in an Original Trilogy set, you can't beat the 8038 Battle of Endor or 10188 Death Star. Quote

Of course, if you want lots of minifigures in an Original Trilogy set, you can't beat the 8038 Battle of Endor or 10188 Death Star. I suppose. In terms of minifigs, I don't think any set, OT, PT, or CW can even come close to 10188. It's just the ultimate set if you want to stock up on minifigs. I have yet to meet a PT/CW fan who didn't at least want the classic characters (droids, Luke, Han, Chewie, Leia, and Darth). As far as minifig variety and value, it cannot be beat by any other set in production. Quote

The Sail Barge is marked up way too much and will likely be redone with Jabba's Palace for the Jedi anniversary. Quote
Churchill Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Has anyone ever seen any dimensions other than length for an a-wing, and what they would tranlate into studs? Length is the only thing that I can seem to find. Any help or suggestions welcome. Quote

Length is the only thing that I can seem to find. Any help or suggestions welcome. Okay, even if it doesn't really exist, there is a way to find out with some simple math. Find an image of the top of the A-wing (or bottom) Print it out, and take measurements of the length and width of the A-wing in the picture. Divide the width by the length to obtain a decimal. Multiply the length of the real A-wing by the decimal, and you have a rough measurement of the width of the 'real' A-wing. After that, you have to decide a scale to build the model in before calculating studs. Quote

But I don't want a "Used Complete" I want one thats not complete otherwise for me theres no fun in getting the set as I can't make it myself Though I have found a couple of used Complete ones for 130 Euro so thats not so bad might get one of those after all or Battle Of Endor. EDIT: I've changed my mind and i'm gonna get the "Battle Of Endor" Thanks for your Help and Opinions Everyone Edited January 16, 2011 by commanderneyo Quote

Used complete means that all the pieces are there. You do want one with all the pieces, right? Quote

Length is the only thing that I can seem to find. Any help or suggestions welcome. Would these help? Length Width Cockpit And the in-film length of the A-wing is actually around 7.63m, despite what official sources say. (The 1/48 SMT kit was based off the original studio model, and the kit is about 15.9cm.) As many MOCers have pointed out, 9.6m is ridiculously large for an A-wing. At "minifigure scale" (somewhere between 1/40 and 1/35) an A-wing would therefore be around 24 studs long, which isn't too big. If you want it to look decent I would suggest building it in 1/24 UCS scale since it's such a small ship and dimensions won't suffer from the shape of the minifigure. But I don't want a "Used Complete" I want one thats not complete otherwise for me theres no fun in getting the set as I can't make it myself If you want to make it yourself, just make your own from scratch and don't bother with the set... Mr. Elijah Timms Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Hey Kim, others... I have a question, and hope this is the right venue for it. Simply put, on Brickset the other day I noticed that there's another Echo Base to be released in 2011-- and I've totally missed all info on it. Any news on the scale/price tag, and what could possibly be in it? Are we looking at just another rehash of what they've done before, or are we going to see some new structures like the shield generator, the ion cannon, or perhaps even the Rebel Transport? I hope they give us something new-- I've practically got a fleet of snowspeeders at this point Thanks! Quote

KimT has already stated multiple times that any information on new 2011 sets is added to the '2011 News Topic' thread. (And no, it doesn't look like there's any info on it yet.) I think that a speculative question like this would more appropriately belong in the Rumors Thread. Quote
