This isn't directly related to the question, but might I ask how exactly you came to this figure?

Added all the required pieces to my Bricklink Wanted List, and then found a store which carries the most lots of my required pieces, added them up from any other required store and got a rough estimate.

Can anyone tell me if the thin yellow line on the right side of the helmet is a misprint or really belongs there? Thanks.

It's a printing error mine as doesn't have it :classic:.

I recently purchased the 2008 Death Star and as I built the figures I realized that I got the new editions of Han's face but not of the others. Has this happened to anyone else?

It must be random and part of a transition period, very few of the figs will have new versions anyway.

Got a question about Qui-Gon Jin of 7665 Republic Cruiser. I realize that there're 2 face in this set, sometime around ebay & bricklink I saw a face of Qui-Gon, and sometime I saw a face of closely resemble Obi-Wan in Ep3. Is this an error of TLC?

Yes. This was an error on TLC's part. Qui-Gon Jin's face was displayed on the box art and instructions, and correctly so as this is an Episode I ship, but sets were packaged with Obi-wan's face from Episode III. Even Brickset has Qui-Jon shown with Obi-wan's face. I don't know how many sets/production runs were done with this error, but TLC's customer service certainly sent the correct face with no question's asked - as usual :classic:

Anyone have any tips on the best ways to get LEGO stormtroopers??

How about not asking the same question in a zillion different topics?

You're new and that would allow some mistakes, but I hardly see the point in asking this so many places.

There's already been a Battle Pack with the stormtrooper and Bricklink.com is known by almost all AFOLs.

So I'm guessing you're either brand new to the internet as a concept and to the whole internet world of LEGO fan communities and sites or you're just a kid.

Time will tell...

I thought this as well but I got it on both figures. Probably just a coincidence.

Does anybody know an easy trick how to remove the price stickers from the boxes without damaging them? They are just so... sticky. :hmpf_bad:

I love the box designs and wish to keep them.

You can use a hair dryer to warm the glue. This way, you should be able to remove the sticker as a whole.

If parts of the glue remain, keep them warm. Using adhesive tape to get rid of the remains has proven pretty useful.

Ah, i see. Thank you for that hint. I will try it. Goodspeed that it works on the older boxes, too.

I used that technique with CD and LP covers. The question is whether the glue only became harder over time or whether it started to fuse/melt into the surface of the box.

Wow, I wish I had known this before. I've had so many problems with stickers. The ones the main Lego retailers here use are too sticky. Thanks!

Wouldn't that harm the box?

And also, does anybody know where I could pick up some of those new mini AAT's other than Bricklink? I heard that they were available at target but I could not find them

How many of the LEGO exclusive bag charms can actually be built? Has anyone attempted to replicate them without glue?

I think most of them can. I know I tried to build a few, but I ran out of parts. :hmpf_bad:

Well, i tried it and it didn't work for me. :sceptic:

The box (new) corner did seriously heat up and the sticker blackended out. Although i almost burned my fingers, the sticker could not be removed any easier. It stuck just like in normal condition. I then stopped the experiment before the box itself blackened and would deformate.

Success might depend on whether the sticker was just placed and the glue has not yet resulted in any reaction between box and sticker.

I better move to only ordering from online stores exclusively...

I use a product called Goof-Off on stickers and for paint removal on action figures. Dip a Q-Tip in and rub it over the sticker. Give it a minute or so to seap through the sticker and you should be able to peel it easily. Then use a cloth to make sure none stays on the box. Not sure what kind of damage it could do, but if you leave it on plastic for too long, it starts to "melt" the plastic.

Lighter fluid is good. Squirt all over the sticker, allow to soak in for a short while and it should melt the adhesive. I wouldn't want to guarantee that it won't stain the box but it's never stained anything I've used it on and it evaporates quite quickly.

It's also good for cleaning off the sticky residue left by stickers, soak into a cloth and rub off.
