How much is a complete imperial star destroyer worth? (6211)

I've seen them ranging from $300-$100. SO it all depends on finding the right person. I got mine from someone who was only trying to get rid of them.

First of all, going off the size of the pilot in the cockpit of the studio model, I would have to disagree with that initial statement; 6208 seems too small.

'Minifigure scale' is very broad and based more off of how the set 'looks' next to a minifigure, so it's probably easier to tell when a set isn't in 'minifigure scale'. It would be quite time-consuming to eyeball and compare references to every single set, so I'll just address your issue of an X-wing, Y-wing, and snowspeeder in minifigure scale...

Among LEGO snowspeeders, 7130 is probably the size most appropriate for a minifigure; the 4500 clones all feel too big. Again looking at the cockpit, I think either 7658 or the upcoming 9495 could work for the Y-wing. For the X-wing, try this one. :classic:

Quick follow-up on this - thank you so much for the advice! Using the amazing MOC X-Wing you linked I've built my own (well... three) and I'm waiting for a few parts to finish it off. I'll post a few pictures when I'm done :) I've been eyeing up the gorgeous Y-Wing that RenegadeClone made as well as Flail's MOC. I've got a wishlist up for a 7130 clone - having poked around a fair bit I decided the easiest way to scale out the models is to use the windshield as a common part and scale things around that - seems to work OK.

Does anyone know how large the dark patterns on the floor of the Theed Hangar are.

Trying to estimate from screenshots is making me :damn::ugh::enough::wall::sing::wall::sing::damn:

Columns too, please! :damn:

The text on set 9488 says that the components were made in Denmark, Hungary, China, Mexico, and the Czech Republic. Since two different printings of the ARF Troopers visor exist, I'd guess that the helms are printed in at least two different countries. Does anyone have more information on this issue?

Is the new ARF trooper one of Pllo Koons or Fox's Troop.

Neither. He is from Rancor Battalion, based on of Kamino.

Plo Koon (and Commander Wolffe) have Wolfpack.

Commander Fox has the Shocktroopers.

Which one is better to get(quality, price, looks)-Chrome stormtrooper plybag version or magnet version?

Well the Polybag one wasn't as easily obtainable and the Magnet minifigres have always been known to have bad quality, and it includes the little magnet/stand thing which will cost more. Last time I looked on Bricklink, they didn't have separate lots in the minifigure selection for which ones were from magnet or the bag. But if memory serves correctly, all chromed figures have the unchromed bits under the arms and both top portions of the legs. They're both pretty much the same.

Ok, tnx!

The minifigs are identical. If you're going to open it, go with whichever's cheapest. If you are just going to display it unopened, the polybag one looks better alongside the other polybagged special minifigs.

I opened all of my polybag minifigs as I don't see a poiint of mot doing so.

It's my hobby, not a way to get a few bucks

Tnx!

Tnx for the answer!

Wow, I was so excited about this set, but now I don't know if I want to get it at all.

Love the figs though.

You could always mod it to be like the older ones. I plan to do that.

Though that doesn't help the size issue much. A smaller solution for the cockpit bulb would be best, though I have yet to see anything better than the SPUD.

Awww, it's so small . Can it fit a fig?

It probably could have if a minifigure's head were a bit smaller. I suppose that was poor designing on my part. Keep in mind that this was back when my best work looked like this.

A bit of a random request; does anyone have a decent quality photo of the back of the box for 10123 Cloud City? I can't find one anywhere!

If so, please can you PM me & I'll confirm my email address. Cheers, Robin :classic:

Are there any rumours about new lego UCS Cloud City?

Only wishlists. There has been zero evidence they are working on a Cloud City set, but it is assumed it will happen sooner than later based on its popularity.

Also, a UCS version would just be a big spinning top, so I hope that doesn't happen.

I was wondering if there is a definitive picture archive of the mini-figs in their various incarnations? I was looking to get some but wanted to compare with new and old versions and maybe mix and match to get some custom results. If it's been asked before, then please forgive my inquiry, otherwise thanks for the help.

What exactly are you looking for? Bricklink has pictures of all the minifigures ever made (for Star Wars, that is).
