dr_spock Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I'm using Firefox with Windoze and can get a couple L-motors in the cart and calculate shipping based on my old USA zip code. Then I can continue checkout as a guest. I can get that far... But I am not going to order them from Lego Education. Going to wait until S@H so I can use my VIP points. Quote

Then I can continue checkout as a guest. I can get that far... For whatever reason, I was successful when I tried again just now (OS X 10.6, Firefox). So for those willing to 1) deal with Lego Education and 2) willing to pay what is probably a markup of a dollar or two per motor, it looks like it is possible to get the PF L and PF Servo motors now. Doc_Brown Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 @OZBen. NICE! I like the big fat $0 cost. haha What you going to build? Quote
Hrafn Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Has anyone heard anything new? Not about availability through Shop at Home, but the L and Servo motors I ordered from Lego Education did arrive quickly and (so far at least) seem to work fine. Quote
JTS Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I can't believe this is an issue that has been going on for over 5 months :/ I understand the QC issues and I actually praise Lego for that, but with 20K servos and 40K Ls being churned out for 41999, I don't understand why we still can't see anything. I'm hoping that when the (final?) batch of crawlers goes out on Sept 19th the factories can start supplying us through S@H Quote
Pierre_Cochereau Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I picked up a few servo motors today at Legoland Günzburg, they have them in stock there. Which makes me wonder all the more why they can't seem to be available through S@H ... Quote
Marcel1980 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I ordered them through a special lego part shop that ordered straight from lego. Only thing that he didnt have was the v2 reciever. Quote
Pierre_Cochereau Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Strange, isn't it? everybody can seem to order/get stocked straight from them, but no S@H ... Only thing that he didnt have was the v2 reciever. They had receivers at the Legoland Shop, but I don't know if they are the V2 receivers ... will check next time. Quote
Kronos Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I picked up a few servo motors today at Legoland Günzburg, they have them in stock there. Which makes me wonder all the more why they can't seem to be available through S@H ... How much did you pay? Quote
Pierre_Cochereau Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 How much did you pay? € 19.99 ... I don't expect them to be much cheaper once/if they will ever be available through S@H ... Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 The U.S. LEGO S@H site looks like it may be going through some updates right now. The Power Functions page is currently blank. On a related note, the Unimog and all 2012 sets have been removed from the Technic section. Quote
EyesOnly Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I just checked swedish S@H and both those categories are empty. Quote
AVCampos Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 The Portuguese Technic page has 21 sets listed, including the 41999 (obviously marked as sold out) and the 8110. The PF page has 15 items: the usual components, none of the new ones that came with the Crawlers. Quote
EyesOnly Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Just checked swedish s@h and everything is back to normal. So what did they do that recuired removing all the sets and then add them back? Considering how long time this thread has been going on and since i can't start my own polls i'll use this thread. Which do you think will be released first. 2H14 or the new PF parts? Feel free to comment. I hope that the part will come first but i really don't know. I'm glad that i didn't pay much attention of this subject before this summer. Those of you that did must be really upset by now. Quote
Hrafn Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 This is quite frustrating. Hopefully TLC is prolonging the delay because they are making sure any quality issues are completely dealt with. That said, the motors I bought from Lego Education have been fine so far, albeit under very light use. If I run into any quality problems with them I'll let the forum know so that US consumers at least can make an educated decision as to whether to buy from Lego Education or keep waiting for S@H. 07jkearney Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 [bump] Just phoned customer services to see if they had any more information concerning the release date, (actual quote): "I can't give you an exact date, but the newer power functions components should be available on Shop @ Home extremely soon." Not sure whether I believe this in all honesty. Quote

Junpei Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.” -- Abraham Lincoln I hope I can get my hands on a servo soon. Quote
Saberwing40k Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Gah, this waiting is so annoying! I kind of wish that they'd at least give us a reason for the delay. Also, my servo from the boss makes weird beeping and buzzing noises. Is this normal? Quote
Kronos Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Both of mine make an almost squeaky/beeping sound. I think it might be normal. Quote
Junpei Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 (edited) It's probably from turning the rotation sensor, I think it's normal although I don't have one. Edited September 7, 2013 by TwentyLeggedHen Quote
