I'm using Firefox with Windoze and can get a couple L-motors in the cart and calculate shipping based on my old USA zip code.

Then I can continue checkout as a guest. I can get that far...

But I am not going to order them from Lego Education. Going to wait until S@H so I can use my VIP points.

For whatever reason, I was successful when I tried again just now (OS X 10.6, Firefox). So for those willing to 1) deal with Lego Education and 2) willing to pay what is probably a markup of a dollar or two per motor, it looks like it is possible to get the PF L and PF Servo motors now.

Has anyone heard anything new?

Not about availability through Shop at Home, but the L and Servo motors I ordered from Lego Education did arrive quickly and (so far at least) seem to work fine.

I can't believe this is an issue that has been going on for over 5 months :/

I understand the QC issues and I actually praise Lego for that, but with 20K servos and 40K Ls being churned out for 41999, I don't understand why we still can't see anything.

I'm hoping that when the (final?) batch of crawlers goes out on Sept 19th the factories can start supplying us through S@H

Strange, isn't it? everybody can seem to order/get stocked straight from them, but no S@H ... :hmpf_bad:

Only thing that he didnt have was the v2 reciever.

They had receivers at the Legoland Shop, but I don't know if they are the V2 receivers ... will check next time. :classic:

I picked up a few servo motors today at Legoland Günzburg, they have them in stock there. Which makes me wonder all the more why they can't seem to be available through S@H ... :shrug_confused:

How much did you pay?

The U.S. LEGO S@H site looks like it may be going through some updates right now. The Power Functions page is currently blank.

On a related note, the Unimog and all 2012 sets have been removed from the Technic section. *huh*

The Portuguese Technic page has 21 sets listed, including the 41999 (obviously marked as sold out) and the 8110. The PF page has 15 items: the usual components, none of the new ones that came with the Crawlers.

Just checked swedish s@h and everything is back to normal. So what did they do that recuired removing all the sets and then add them back?

Considering how long time this thread has been going on and since i can't start my own polls i'll use this thread. Which do you think will be released first. 2H14 or the new PF parts? Feel free to comment.

I hope that the part will come first but i really don't know. I'm glad that i didn't pay much attention of this subject before this summer. Those of you that did must be really upset by now.

This is quite frustrating. Hopefully TLC is prolonging the delay because they are making sure any quality issues are completely dealt with. That said, the motors I bought from Lego Education have been fine so far, albeit under very light use. If I run into any quality problems with them I'll let the forum know so that US consumers at least can make an educated decision as to whether to buy from Lego Education or keep waiting for S@H.

[bump]

Just phoned customer services to see if they had any more information concerning the release date, (actual quote): "I can't give you an exact date, but the newer power functions components should be available on Shop @ Home extremely soon."

:look: Not sure whether I believe this in all honesty.

I hope I can get my hands on a servo soon.

It's probably from turning the rotation sensor, I think it's normal although I don't have one.
