mrcp6d Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Phase 1: Sparring: Trying out the clear plates and olive leaves bandwagon! I think there's going to be a lot of axemen/swordsmen in this category, so I decided to try something different and maybe flesh out some of Mitgardia's magic community in the process. Lord Vladivus Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Love it! We don't see enough magic in GoH. Nice figs too! Mitgardian magic! The guy with the bear's going to win! Fear the beard! Guy? I see only two Mitgardian women? Hehe. Quote
janatale Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Trying out the clear plates and olive leaves bandwagon! I need to get on the olive leaves bandwagon as well, I just got my first set with olive leaves so I'm excited to use them. Anyways, I really like the magic element! The melted snow/ice near the fire is a great touch. Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 This is beautiful! Very dynamic. Quote
Legonardo Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 excellent, looking forward to your phase 2 Quote
Emma Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Neat! - I like how you made the fire/ice bouncing off the shields. Quote
kabel Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Nice little vig, small but very effective! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Excellent fig posing The irregular base works nicely here and I like the dark bley/dark tan/olive green/trans clear/white for the landscape. Curved slopes work perfectly for snow Quote

Anyways, I really like the magic element! The melted snow/ice near the fire is a great touch. It's a nice bandwagon, I highly encourage riding it for a while This is beautiful! Very dynamic. Thank you! excellent, looking forward to your phase 2 Thanks LD, kind of struggling with what a wizards' training ground might look like, but I've got a couple fun ideas I think. Neat! - I like how you made the fire/ice bouncing off the shields. Thanks, I was trying to make it fairly dynamic. Nice little vig, small but very effective! Yeah, most of the Phase 1 builds seem like they could very easily end up being 'figs on a plate', I was trying to avoid that as much as I could while keeping the small foot print. Excellent fig posing The irregular base works nicely here and I like the dark bley/dark tan/olive green/trans clear/white for the landscape. Curved slopes work perfectly for snow Love the curved slopes for snow! Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 My favorite so far! I like the posing and the photo is excellent. But what stands out most is giving the barracks a twist, well done! Quote
Duvors Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) Guy? I see only two Mitgardian women? Hehe. Wrong, Mitgardian women are tougher and have bigger beards. Edited October 16, 2013 by Lord Duvors Quote

Waylander Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Great idea and nice touches. Philosophically speaking....what is ultimately stronger? water or fire? Quote
Gideon Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I like the melted/frozen halves of the ground! Nice indeed to see some more of the magical fighters of Historica Quote
