Which set took you the longest to build? Mine would probably be Muaka & Kane-Ra from bionicle. It took me a long time and it gave me the worst case of "Technic Hand" I've ever had.

The original AT-AT. Took several Saturday mornings over a month, with the help of my father. And broke a matter of hours after it was finished.

Two weeks ago I bought a used Death Star. It was shipped unsorted and packed in large Ziploc freezer bags. Finding the proper pieces for each step in the build took forever.

Ouch. Sounds like you had fun.

From memory it was likely the Sydney Opera House (its the largest LEGO set I own). Although the Grand Emporium and HP Diagon Alley are also up there in complexity.

Dunno, probably the used (I usually don't sort) AT-AT or Mil Falcon (minifig versions) that I own. I spread the joy over a week I think.

QAR took a few days but it was new in numbered bags.

Probably Orthanc for me. I didn't keep track of how long it took, but it sat on my kitchen table in partial states of assembly for more than a week with me averaging maybe 30-45 minutes a day on it. So 6-8 hours. I've also built the Williams F1 car but that was some years ago and I completed it in a day, so I'm not sure if it's got Orthanc beat or not.
