Entries will now be judged while episode III is in preparation. Officials will surely give more details about all this.

I want to apologize about the changes in the rules. That was my first time hosting a contest, and I'll do better next time if I got the chance :blush:

Okay, may we now know what the reason for the rule change was? I didn't think that adding other avatars for free was a bad idea. All it could result in is some inconsistencies with each others stories ... Also making a very fig heavy MOC doesn't help that much it would be frightening?

Although it seemed tough, this parts pile was a very good idea and a worthy challange. It was really hard to get idea from just thinking about it, so after a few days I just decided to sort the bricks out, disassemble the built set, sort a bit and then it all comes easier. Else all I had on my mind was a huge TIE wing and the useless white A-wing pieces ...

I'm not sure what Bob's final reasoning was, but the rule in its final form was my idea after a change was suggested. I suggested the rule because it was unlikely to be abused and seemed like it would be simple to remember, follow, and enforce.

I was considering using a Rancor or Dewback myself, but I wasn't sure how many parts they would count as, which is always vague with figures and creatures. I think the part restriction to specific sets was a great idea, and wouldn't mind seeing it again in the future.

I liked this episode very much. With those three sets and 20 additional pieces, you can build something great - TIE and A-Wing gives you chance to build some awesome custom ships and Scarlacc set gives them some Tatooine taste. When can we expect results?

No problem, I'm sure everyone understands.

Could there be a longer amount of time in between episodes so we can get some free builds out? Just a thought.

I think you can only post free builds as long as there is an episode going on.

No, you can do free builds any time; it's just that episodes determine when the counter resets for the number of judged free builds you're allowed to do.

I don't mind about the change of rules, as long as it was clear in the end, with feedback and enough time for contestants to make changes.

Hope no one gets disqualified by not following the rules.

I quite like this pile-o-bricks contest, although I don't own any of those sets. This gives me a real challenge.

Are the future episodes getting more tough ? Like having limited amount of bricks for example.

Just a thought, need a story to go with it anyway. :tongue:

Thanks to all the participants. Once again the Rebellion proved its valor!!

The sandstorm seems to have caused lots of casualties in the Empire ranks, since only 5 of them participated in this event. The Rebels will be awarded the Jawa head tag (if you have the Han Solo Carbonite tag, please inform us of which one you want to display). XP gained will be added to your profile soon.
