W0lF Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Today I want to present my old MOC - a sport car. The design of this car is something between Caterham 7 and Ariel atom V8. Functions: 1) Front independent suspension 2) Rear depend suspension 3) Working V8 engine 4) Steering 5) Adjustable rear wing Suspension work: V8 engine: Steering: Rear wing controlled by black gear in the driver's cab And with different wheels... That's all, thank's for a watching. Quote
Junpei Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 It looks awesome, is the front suspension pushrod? Also love the third version of the wheels, is that one of those discs from those old Bionicle sets? Quote
W0lF Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Like it very much. Thanks a lot. It looks awesome, is the front suspension pushrod? Also love the third version of the wheels, is that one of those discs from those old Bionicle sets? Thanks. Yes, the front suspension is pushrod, and discs from 8748 Rhotuka spinners set. Quote
Rishab N Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Very nice! I really like the color scheme Quote
Lost_In_Noise Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Very nice engine. Makes me wish they'd put it in an official set. Quote
AKM_76 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) Almost sure there are some hidden engineering mistakes, but overall conception is so good, want it to be released as official set, sure I'll buy it. Miss Racers series so much, this car could fit it perfectly. Edited October 14, 2013 by AKM_76 Quote
W0lF Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 Thanks to everybody. I'm glad that you like this car. Quote
legomuppet9 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Definitely more Ariel Atom, great car Quote
Energo Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Cool but simple MOC) Like its colours and design. Nice idea with wheels Quote
Thirdwigg Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 The blue and lime work well together. Thanks for sharing. Quote
clarkdef Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 This is the type of set I wish they would retail, my son likes it and if it were a retail set it would not be too expensive, would be easy to make and would stimulate his mind. There may be sets already out there that can do this, but this would be a good option, because I really like the colours. Also hows the toughness, is it fragile? Quote
W0lF Posted October 18, 2013 Author Posted October 18, 2013 Thanks a lot to everyone. Currently I'm working on the following model with more features and in the same size. Quote
