Faefrost Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I keep referring to the Hogwarts build I built, so all of these pieces are reddish brown and/or tan (brick yellow I believe). But I don't know how the color would change the integrity of the plastic of the brick. Color can drastically change the nature of the plastic. We tend to think of colors as simply dyes, but that really isn't the case, and never has been. Each different color is achieved via different chemistry. And each one may impact plastics in different subtle ways. Some colors or dyes may make a plastic a bit more brittle. Some may make it seem softer or waxier. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 ^That would make sense since it seems to be my lighter colors breaking more often than my dark colors. Now one could assume that is because it is harder to see the cracks on the dark bricks, but upon closer inspection I haven't seen too many dark bricks cracking (but I do see some). Quote
Dewey Cheatum 1011 Western Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 am I blind, because I cant see anything wrong with the bricks Quote
