April 7, 200717 yr I voted for Sabre Island, as it's my favorite of the bunch listed. But I always thought the tower like building on Sabre looked too heavy for the little island. Watch out the island is sinking X-D
May 12, 200717 yr I have voted imperial outpost. I had a doubt about what is beter: lagoon lock-up or Imperial outpost, but finally i deciden the second, because i don't like the red and white sails, and the classic smile of the pirate
May 12, 200717 yr So, who want a Pompey versus Pirates sub-theme? :-P Anyway, I voted for the Imperial Outpost.. probably because I always liked the redcoats better than the blue.... that would make a great idea! Romans and pirates! I voted for sabre island, still don't own it, but it got me into lego pirates. Gaetano
May 12, 200717 yr Lagoon Lockup for me. To be honest, it was very close between it and Sabre Island, and I'd love to see a MOC of the two of them together. That would be an epic little set. Now I just need to start picking up these sets.
May 12, 200717 yr One more for 6267 Lagoon Lock-Up! It was a great set, though some of the choices on this list are very hard to compare... God Bless, Nathan
May 12, 200717 yr Almost a toss-up between Lagoon Lock-Up and Imperial Outpost, but went with the first, mainly for being in agreement with what oo7 says about the latter. But now that I finally own 6263, my opinion could change once I build it. :-P
May 29, 200717 yr i've always love my lil Sabre Island even if it is 1 of only 2 pirate sets i own *sweet* Sparrow
July 30, 200717 yr It's a tough choice here, because each of these sets are wonderful! Aside from the two Shipwreck Islands (which, I note, are not in the poll) I don't think the Pirates theme even had a sub-par outpost set. (And even those islands are darn fun to play with, even if they are somewhat lacking in design.) For sheer size, which means more bricks, more figures, and therefore more fun, the Imperial Outpost and Lagoon Lock-up stand out from the rest. Sabre Island is great, sure, but it is lacking in standalone play value. Where are the pirates? Where's the jail, or a place to hide treasure? It works best alongside the Eldorado Fortress or Lagoon Lock-Up. Of the Outpost and Lock-up, I'd have to go with the Lock-Up. The design is well executed, the figures (soldiers AND pirates) are great, the sail boat is a must-have, and the main building is particularly well thought out; it's not too open or too enclosed, the open areas are incorporated into the design, and it looks like a dockside tavern and not another random military structure. One of the best sets LEGO ever made in that price range. TC Edited July 30, 200717 yr by TalonCard
July 30, 200717 yr I was torn between lagoon-lockup and imperial outpost, but I ended up voting for lagoon lock-up since Imperial Soldiers are the best!
August 1, 200717 yr I have voted for the Imperial Outpost, the Imperial Guards are my favorite figures (even if I have given mine tricornes, so that they look like British soldiers) and I like the small arch under which the sloop can go. I however have to admit I hesitated with the lock-up; after all they both feature the same kind of function... Edited August 1, 200717 yr by Lord Beckett
October 5, 200717 yr I voted for Lagoon Lock-Up. 6265 Sabre Island my vote, spent hours building and rebuilding Welcome to Eurobricks; please tell me that you are not named after 92 Radar.
October 5, 200717 yr Sabre Island all the way! That sets is so nostalgic for me. I think it was my first pirate set! Along with the 6260. *wub* I got them when I was 11 and they were exclusive Pirate preview sets available in the states only through the mail order catalog. I remember they were backordered and I was so dissapointed that they would be late! :'-( <--look a crying pirate! :-D
October 5, 200717 yr my favorit is 6267 Lagoon Lock-Up. i have vote for it. i like this set. Capt. K.

October 6, 200717 yr Thanks, and nope, I operated radar in the army and 92 was the numbers in the callsign Well that is a relief. If you liked 92 Radar then I'm sorry to say we would not be friends.... :-P
October 6, 200717 yr 6267 Lagoon Lockup was my favorite outpost. A very nice design and many minifigs in it. It was great to play with it. My cousin was the Pirate fraction and i was general of the soldiers.
October 9, 200717 yr Sabre Island has the most structure. I own Armada sentry (my only Pirates set) and it is :-X
