Posted October 24, 201311 yr This is my first post here so hello everyone. I want to show my models to a wider audience so I decided to show them here. A year ago, I built a model of Liebherr LTM 1070, but during the summer LUGPol exhibition fell off the table... This is rebuilt and improved version Technical data: -Dimensions: width 16s /height 22s /length 66s -Weight: 2,7kg -7 motors All functions are remotely controlled. Here are some schemes of the first version, but the mechanisms remain almost unchanged. Two photos of the original: If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
October 24, 201311 yr Awesome crane. Did you think about making 'sliding outriggers' for your crane? Its a shame you could not add another boom section.
October 24, 201311 yr And what a first post!! *jaw drops* And it seems to work very well. You've created the full package!
October 24, 201311 yr Stunning model. The first photos make it look like small City model, and only upon further inspection do you realize how large it is. It is amazing that you have managed to hide all those real technical functions inside such a perfect shell.
October 24, 201311 yr Author Thanks for the positive feedback. :) Did you think about making 'sliding outriggers' for your crane? No, there is not enough space. Its a shame you could not add another boom section.I tried to do 4 section boom, but at this scale it is rather impossible. Do you plan making instructions? No, making instructions would take more time, than doing the model. ;)
October 24, 201311 yr I seen ver. 1 on brickshelf before. I wanted to cry when I seen the damage. But that was a few months ago and this one looks better. Great job on both versions.
October 24, 201311 yr Wow. At first, I thought this was a model without functions, just a model to show. But then I read and saw it includes a whole bunch of motors and functions. Amazing work! Well done!
October 24, 201311 yr Fantastic model mate. Also as I am new to this the colored gear pictures really helped me see how the mechanisms work. Thanks
October 24, 201311 yr Absolutely fantastic first post! You have taken excellent photos as well. I really admire the amount of work it takes to produce such a perfect model! tim
October 25, 201311 yr at the first glance i thought it was the same as this one: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86470&hl=liebherr amazingly - more or less the same mobile crane MOCs more or less simultaneously... it's really hard to say which one to prefer... i would rate both of them with a full 10/10
