Asuka Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 Yep, sounds very clever. A modular building style is always fascinating to me. It provides an interesting factor of diversity to any model. Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted April 9, 2007 Author Posted April 9, 2007 Excellent! Some of them would look very good in LEGO too, like these space marine cybots.... :'-) By the cybots, do you mean Dreadnoughts??? Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I too am into W40K, Fantasy and a host of other games. Here's a few samples of my miniatures: Chaplain for my Golden Templars (Trait Space Marine Chapter) A templar: Khorne Berzerker Quote
TaltosVT Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I bought a copy of The Battle for Macragge starter set a while back. My daughter and I played a few times. I'd love to get into it more, but there's a lack of players in this area. I did take a stab at a Lego version of Space Marine Terminators. At some point I'm going to build a set of modular Space Hulk rooms to go along with them. -Elroy Quote

X-D Sure, he will be roughly 15 cm in size and the width in scale to the size. He'll be either red or blue or maybe a chaos one, but I'm not sure right now. He will utilize Exo-Force ratcheting joints and a modular weapon-arm replacement system. Quote

Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Yes, I am an avid Games-Workshop fanboy and play both Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Fantasy. The Warhammer hobby is far more important to me then Lego and takes up most of my hobby time and interest. My current crowning acheivement is taking Bronze in the Age 14 and under category of the Golden Demon competition. The GDCompetition, for those of you who dont know, is one of the most prestegious painting competitions in the world and there are only four of them held per year in the US :P Linky: http://gamesday.us.games-workshop.com/Game...s/cat8_page.htm The reason I have not been doing much with my Lego as of late is primarily due to Warhammer; I am preparing a Gorkamorka table for Gamesday (Ork on Ork Combat!), asembling and painting my next Golden Demon entry, and hand sculpting and casting a Spartan army for use in the upcoming worldwide Warhammer Fantasy campaign :) This is why, to me, Lego bricks are just an amusement. If any of you are interested, I'll post some pics of some of my current work. @ EXO-CHAMP - Excellent models, dude! Im loving the trait chaptor. A bit heavy on the ink wash and a bit slim on highlighting, perhaps, but SUPERB tabletop quality. Well done! Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted April 18, 2007 Author Posted April 18, 2007 WOW, lord admiral, that's amazing that you got bronze! Do you have any picture of some of your models? They sound like they are the best of the best! P.S If you are making a spartan army I have a friend that can help = Crocidle games! here's their web site they're making a new line of spartan minitures! http://www.crocodilegames.com/ hehe, I love that pirate hat! :-D Quote
