Thanks,

are you planning to do any of this in real bricks? I think it would be beyound awesome!

I don't think I can afford all those bricks to build in real.

Just one issue. Shouldn't the Arbalest have a Forestman hat?

You created these in LDD, right?

The arbalest in game has a helmet, not a hat so I tried to use the most resembling helm:

And yes, I used LDD.

Hmmm? An interesting thought on this one. Given that CuuSoo seems more prone to pass and produce single sets than a theme. And given the tile based nature of the game where each structure sits on a similar footprint and uses a similar color and design pallet. Would it be possible to design a single set that could be used to create any one of those buildings? A 3 in 1 type set, similar to creator? Enough bricks to build each and instructions for all three. This way you would have an easier time in review, and would encourage multiple purchases for the fans.

I think, if this idea ever gets the required support, and then if it is selected to be a Cuusoo set, Lego designers would either produce only of these buildings, or they would produce all of them but in smaller scale, just like what they did with Minecraft project. What you say may also work.

This keeps getting better, great work on the archery range

For those interested, the new HD version of AoE 2 is on Steam and it's a joy to play, even after all these years.

I don't care for Age of Empires, never did. But I find these builds to be very well made and definately wouldn't mind seeing them produced. Good job!

Wow, brings back so many memories of lost days in front of my computer. Well done! Heading over now to support on Cuusoo. Even if you don't succeed in getting the set approved/produced, I think you could still sell the plans on eBay or something. I think a lot of people would buy them.

I love that these models have bought me swimming back to my youth trying to get Age of Empires to work over the LAN with my younger brother. These are fantastically accurate to the game and I can't wait to see if you make more, especially of the more eastern style buildings.

That being said, I do not think this is a good CUUSOO project as the games are quite old and I cannot imagine the cross over between Lego enthusiasts and AOE enthusiasts willing to spend money on models is enough to make it a worthwhile endevour for Lego. This doesn't detract from how amazing I think these are however.

Very nice creations and they look just like the ones in the games. It unfortunate that lego dosnt have that colour for the roof.

Actually Lego has that colour for roof, except the 3x3 concave.

Nice. But to be more accurate to the game, you need at least eighty or so fishing boats and plenty of fish traps. Can't wait to see your take on the guard outpost.

I recreated a Stable of a middle eastern faction. I know, horse archer is not produced in stables, but I found it more suiting to display him along with other cavalry: Camel, heavy camel, Hussar.

And now for something completely different... cool build, though now I have a nitpick with the roof above the columns - it seems too narrow. I would have recommended this piece: http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/4515, but since there is no corner version, I would probably recommend adding several studs worth of straight/flat plates and then finishing off with the sloped roof bricks. It wouldnt be a perfect slope, but I think it would capture the look more. Otherwise though, still great!

N-n-no Paladin? :cry_sad:

Knight? No? :cry_sad:

Well I thought knights and paladins wouldn't be suitable for a middle eastern faction.

Thanks for the suggestion, I might consider it or find another solution myself.

Here's a video I compiled with all the creations:
